"This meal was incredibly authentic and delicious. It was super fresh and came piping hot. The Chicken Agda (Loubia) was the star. A tomato based stew with amazing aromatic flavors like ginger, onions, garlic. Everything merged well together, nothing tasted like it stood out (you won't notice if you say "i dont like onion") So so so so flavorful and the chicken falls off the bone. Tasted so homemade, and reminded me of my mom's Sudanese cooking. One of the best meals I have had in the city, paired well with the aromatic perfectly cooked rice with lots of cardamon flavor. The Fassolia is also so delicious - love the smooth texture. Loved it. Hearty and healthy, lightly salted. It can be ordered alone, but I wanted to pair it. The meal came with a lemony, pepper sauce and was so well balanced. This is the way it is traditionally eaten in Sudan too (hot diced peppers, lemon, chili sauce---like a better spicy Yemini fine pico de gallo relish). So thoughtful to include 2. Generous portion of bread too. Huge round chewy bread, baked in a wood fired oven for sure. 10/10. Just wow. Large portion of everything. Authentic. Can't wait to visit in person!"

"It's kind of weird to order branzino off DoorDash but I did it and have no regrets. It's a beautifully seasoned fish with super simple flavors. You can taste the quality of the olive oil in every bite. The fish comes on a bed of rice and lentils which is a simple but perfect complement to the fish. "
"Hummus arrived quite cold and is pretty bland. Decent texture I suppose but feels almost too creamy and smooth for my personal preference; I like my hummus a little denser/thicker and more flavorful. The mushrooms also taste a bit bland but not bad.
The pita it came with arrived stale. Decent flavor that could barely be enjoyed through the toughness.
The zaatar pita are very small---small enough that my roommate thought I pulled out a bag of cookies! They are also very obviously store/factory made, and I was expecting fresh pita brushed with zaatar and olive oil. They are also quite hard/stiff! Very disappointed that this was not advertised or pictured, the photo does not look factory made at all. "

"Omg this place was AMAZING. For context, I just came back from traveling abroad and really missed my American comfort food. This was WELL deserved! The portions are HUGE! Both the Chopped Cheese on Hero and Wings Boneless Only were glorious. The hero was SO messy and WELL WORTH IT. If you get the Munchies Sauce, it goes well with the hero! I didn't use the Jamaican Jerk sauce as much but it was also really good. The Mango Habanero was really well-spiced. I was actually really impressed by all of it! The packaging for the wings was inside aluminum foil so it held the sauce well. "
