"The Beef Stir Fry with oyster sauce was pretty average to be honest. The vegetables didn't taste very nice and the variety of veggies was too vast that it skewed the flavour of the dish. Slimy brown mushrooms were not eaten, they looked like slugs. The beef, broccoli, carrot, bok choy were cut in large pieces, too large for a stir fry. I could only fit one item in my mouth at a time which gave one flavour per mouthful and not a combined flavour of ingredients that we expect in a stir fry. They weren't cooked with the sauce for long enough I think, and they were too large to properly soak up the flavour of the sauce which wasn't very nice anyway, really thin watery sauce. I could've made better in my wok with fewer ingredients and $$. I regret not cooking my own stir fry after this meal. Sad face. Sad tummy. All round sadness. The steamed rice was the standout dish. FuLu do a way better stir fry, a few blocks away. "

"soft Vietnamese beef and brisket Pho with plenty of extra basil asked for but it was too hot for my taste so left the chilli I could avoid out and added my own lime juice cos I didn't find the tiny slice of lemon under the pork spring roll bag until I lifted out of the carry paper bag. "First time eating here because their Lone Wolf Combo seemed like a great deal and boy it was great. The spring rolls and chicken wings were so crispy and tasty. I choose the chicken pho as my main and it was delicious and the perfect amount. The only thing I'd say was missing were the extra sides you usually get with a pho to add chilli or some sauces to get it to your taste. But other thanthat it was so worth it. Will order again "

• A distinct lack of enough Chicken
• Flat Rice Noodles filled just beyond three quarters of the plastic container.

• Two small florets of Broccoli
• Three small slices of raw carrot (I discarded them.)
— Meal was delivered only warm, even though the Dasher arrived quite quickly.
Also provided was an accompaniment of Vietnamese mint and Sprouts, fresh Chili, lemon and Hosein sauce. Could have had more Mint and Sprouts, but was acceptable.
Overall, I feel like I paid $18 -$20 for Noodles and Broth, and some extra dollars for not much more.
Except for an over abundance of the Flat Rice Noodles, it was not at all an adequate serve.
Unfortunately, I Love Pho 264, in Richmond, had just closed and I thought I would give Viet Rose Restaurant a try. A very disappointing error.
