"Extremely disappointed to see that my Chile Relleno Burrito with chicken, and no rice, which cost $22, turned out to be the tiniest burrito I've ever gotten at a taqueria. I order burritos without rice from other places all the time. Some are "slightly" smaller, but most are generally the same size. This one, however, was comparable to a Taco Bell burrito, or a baby burrito that some taquerias offer. It was incredibly small. I finished it in less than 3 minutes, then had to look for something else to eat.
I used to be a semi-regular customer before COVID. Once they reopened after the pandemic, I found their serving system to be so awkward, fearful, and unfriendly that I decided not to return until they resumed normal operations. We'd returned once since then, and my family all agreed that portions were on the smaller side. I suppose this is their way of dealing with the rising cost of running a business.
As they are a locally-owned business that is in my neighborhood, I really wanted to give them another chance, and I feel like I just got ripped off. The food quality was excellent, but there wasn't enough of it to justify charging such a high price. "

They gave me four taco tortillas instead of a burrito sized one which only added to the disrespect. "El Toro is one of a handful of trad Mission places that I alternate between for delivery. Everything is tasty, you always get good portion, the prices are good when they have a deal on, and they're usually fast.
The Tamales (Each) was big and meaty, and tasted like a tamale. It came already unwrapped, and in fact broken into 3 pieces, but that didn't affect the taste. The (huge tub of) orange-colored sauce is not very spicy but pretty flavorful (and salty) and works with the tamale.
The Meat Nachos are good, but I accidentally ordered the "spicy chicken in red sauce" (which is not that spicy, but is tasty) instead of the asada. So the whole thing was a soggy mess, but that's my fault—in fact, they sent along an unsolicited bag of free chips, which came pretty close to fixing it.
