"as a broke uni student constantly battling between eating instant noodles and actual food, this chicken over rice bowl honestly feels like a blessing. the portion size is generous, the chicken is juicy and seasoned so well that it almost tricks me into thinking i can’t cook better (spoiler: i can’t), and the rice is soft and perfectly cooked. the sauce ties everything together like it was made to save my soul after lectures.
but the real kicker? the price. it’s shockingly affordable like in a city where most places charge you daylight robbery prices for a sad portion of food, this bowl actually respects my wallet. you get a hearty, filling meal that doesn’t leave you broke or still hungry after. i honestly don’t know how they manage to keep it so cheap without sacrificing quality, but i’m not complaining. this is one of those rare gems that you want to gatekeep but also scream about because everyone deserves to eat this well without selling a kidney."

"I ordered the Mixed Shawarma Hummus Bowl Platter ( Dinner ) & Baba Ghannouj Dip. Unfortunately, I received a Rice Bowl in error. I'm currently on a low-carb diet, so I was totally bummed since I can't eat the rice! I called the restaurant to let them know what happened and was extremely impressed with Pita Kabob's customer service. The employee I spoke with apologized, refunded my payment, and advised me to place a replacement order. Since I'm really hungry, I've been picking pieces of meat out and nibbling at the veggies as I wait for my new order... this food is REALLY good! The lamb & chicken has great flavor with a perfect texture - obviously fresh and not dried out at all. The Baba Ghannouj Dip is probably the best I've tasted. Since I was really looking forward to my hummus dish, I'm waiting until it arrives so I can enjoy everything together as intended, but this is so good it's making it very difficult! I've never ordered from here until tonight; I'm eating later than usual so I just chose a place that was open and had chicken with hummus - I was pleasantly surprised to see this mixed dish with both chicken and lamb. I'm honestly kinda thankful my usual place was closed because it led me to discovering Pita Kabob Grill! Nobody's perfect and all humans make mistakes, so I'm not even upset about the incorrect item since it's been corrected with no problems. I will definitely continue ordering from here!

"So bad, the Lobster Mac didn't have lobster, it tasted and looked like imitation crab. I gagged eating it and ruined the Mac and cheese. The Mushroom Swiss Burger was completely soaked on the bottom from the grease to the point the paper in the container disintegrated plus the patties were overcooked. The App Sampler was horrible, the corn dogs tasted like they were breaded in cake, the pretzels had no salt, the elote dip tasted like plain cream cheese mixed with canned corn and cilantro while the lime they gave me tasted rotten plus the chips were stale, and the Nashville chicken was disgustingly sweet, the Loaded Cosmik Fries App had almost no seasoning on the fries and the cheese had no flavor, the Lemon Cake was dry, the frosting was grainy, and it had a metallic after taste. Genuinely one of the worst restaurants I've ever had, I'm trying to get as much of a refund as I can because for $90 for 2 people we shouldn't be hungry with a pile of leftovers we're going to throw away."

There was a small amount of fries that were freezing cold and unseasoned. I paid for the truffle fries and they just tasted like wet cold cheese. Absolutely not worth the $12 I paid for the extra side. This place is way too expensive for food that I could get at higher quality at a gas station for a dollar. the Sunset Roll was disappointing, it was very expensive and I ended up only able to get two pieces. it was soggy and fell apart being cut so thin. and there was way to much imitation crab on top. the flavor without the crab was good though but the imitation crab overpowered it a lot making it taste fishy so I couldn't taste the shrimp. I am not saying it was bad just not to my taste. if you love imitation crab you will probably really like it.
overall I am excited to try other rolls but I will definitely be ordering the Sweet Potato Tempura , Sweet Potato Tempura Roll , and the Gyoza (6 Pieces) again!"

"To be honest, since I have moved to Ann Arbor I haven't found ANY sushi place that actually had decent sushi. Every other place the sushi and fish tastes old or "fishy" when it really shouldn't. I can say for certain that this place has the best sushi I have found in Ann Arbor (surprising right?!). Their specialty roles are not over-saucy and don't pile on rice to make it look bigger. I personally love the Fireball Roll but that is because I like roe. Furthermore their packaging is amazing. They recently changed it but I think it's for the best. Each roll is packaged with care and isn't just thrown all together. I also loved the Yellowtail Roll, as the fish wasn't slimy or smelly but instead flavorful and melted in your mouth like what good tuna should. If you want any good sushi or just are looking for something close by, Kanbu is the place."
