"Best breakfast in town, great price, delicious and a big serving Pancakes with Meat was delicious will definitely order more things off the menu"
"The Ropa Vieja,Homemade Flan ,French Fries with Cheese are just right and would definitely order again. The only thing that needs work are the tostones, I'm sorry to say they're bland and too hard. Some oil and garlic would help... And finally,I got ONE maduro, yep, just one single plantain...
Otherwise, the portion and flavor of the Ropa Vieja itself is reason enough to order again👍"

"This tasted great, and I will definitely order again. The home fries w/ peppers and onions, are the best I've tasted from any restaurant in the area. The bacon was cooked perfectly. The only request I have is that they add an option to add cheese to the eggs. The price could be lower considering it's just eggs, meat, home fries, and toast, but it's comparable to other restaurants in the area. They should offer a reward for every $100 spent over time, for $15 off the next order, and/or buy 1 get 1 50% off. They could also include fresh juice w/ the platter, like a combination meal. This would make their restaurant's breakfast stand out, and be very popular."
"Alcapurria was undercooked, Rabo (Oxtail) Empanada was just ok but kind of dry and small for the price. From this experience and a precious one I'm certain I wouldn't eat from this place again. They also forgot to send one item."

"El Milazo es una joya!
No me esperaba un postre así: suave, cremoso, con ese toque casero que te transporta."
"The food arrived cold. The basmati rice was unexpected and a bit hard for some reason. Perhaps it was undercooked? The pork was shredded super thin and did not taste good. The order was piled with a ton of thick sliced raw red onion which did not add anything favorable to the dish. The black beans were also bad. Will not be ordering from here again."

"Love this place. It has definitely become my go to spot for authentic cuisine. Feels like a home cooked meal. The portions are more than fair, food is fresh, and for a great price at that. The Pernil with Moro De Guandules accompanied by a side of mudoros, "chef's kiss" for sure and absolutely enough for two people or have some for leftovers the next day."
"All around great value, Pernil was flavorful, the rice and maduros were nice and fresh, almost as if they were just made. The restaurant gave a generous amount of rice and meat for an amazingly low price. I didn't expect that for a lunch platter. I wouldn't mind ordering again soon."

"The Pernil Family Meal + Large Rice & Beans + Side was an Amazing choice. The meat taste was soo flavorful and tender. The rice was cooked perfect and the beans were seasoned as deliciously. The portion was good, I would have liked a larger amount of bean but overall , LOVED IT!"
"I was excited to try Meson Tropical, but this order was disappointing. The food was packaged in foil trays and did not travel well, which affected the presentation and overall dining experience.
The biggest issue was the quality of the meats. The fried pork belly was extremely overcooked, dry, and tough to chew, and the meat in the mini Meson bowl was similarly overdone. Rather than tasting fresh and juicy, the meats seemed as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period. More importantly, the dishes lacked the bold seasoning and authentic Latin flavors I expected from a Puerto Rican/Dominican restaurant. The food was bland and did not have the homemade Caribbean taste that makes this cuisine special.
The Spring Meson Chicken Salad and Cod Fish were also underseasoned and uninspiring. The alcapurria was terrible—dry, flavorless, and nothing like a freshly made alcapurria should taste. The Passionfruit Mango Madness drink was forgettable and did not stand out. The stuffed potato ball was the only item I genuinely enjoyed.
Overall, the meal lacked consistency and flavor. I was expecting fresh, well-seasoned dishes that reflected the rich and vibrant tastes of Latin cuisine, but unfortunately this experience missed the mark. I hope improvements are made because the menu has a lot of potential."

"I ordered the ny plain cheesecake, I didn't like the bottom part of it. It was spongy. I would've preferred a crumbly textured crust but other than that, the top part of the cake was good. It's not the best cheesecake but I liked how it was a little more on the cheesier side. It also had a hint of sweetness. "

"I love the pernil from El Dorado! It's so delicious and flavorful. Tried the Beef Stew today and it was tasty, but I only got one potato and no gravy. "I do not like oatmeal cereal. That was true until I saw Minias' Oatmeal breakfast with berries. Because of the berries, that are ample in the cereal I fell in love with Minias-styled Oatmeal. I cannot get too much of it. Note: I still don't like oatmeal in general. But Minias has acquired a devotee for their Oatmeal. Please don't change the recipe. That's my prayer. "Best Dominican food in Bayonne.. the sandwiches and small fried appetizers are always amazing. They make the best lemonade. And so affordable. I love this spot."
"I was disappointed with my meal overall. The Pernil / Roast Pork and Tostones were both very dry, and the Jugo de Mango was so tart that it was difficult to enjoy. I also expected more from the Chicken Soup / Sopa de Pollo—it contained one small potato and didn’t feel very hearty.
On a positive note, the Bistec Encebollado / Carmelized Onion Steak was delicious and full of flavor. The rice and beans were also very good, and the Maduros were absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the dry meats and disappointing soup overshadowed the meal, so I don’t think I’ll be returning."

"I love this place. The Alfajores are amazing: super fresh and the flavor is perfect. The Banana Loaf is very good: the texture is fluffy and so flavorful. The empanadas are my favorite, especially the mushroom with maduro. They are paired with a chimichurri-like sauce and the combination of the flavors are so delicious. "
"The fried yucca appetizer and short rib meal, both tasted like the oil was old and rancid. $9.20 for a quantity of white rice that is usually $2. Overall, it was oily, bland, and definitely not worth the price. This was simply one of the worst meals I've had in a while."

"Just had another great meal from Pollo Dorado and they never disappoint! The food was delicious, packed with flavor, and they were generous with the portions — definitely more than enough to share or save for later. Everything came well-packed and fresh, just the way it should be. Consistent quality and reliable every time. 🔥🍗"
