"We order all the time especially when we are with the extended family (and so many children) and have also tried all the other Uyghur places, this was hands down the best. The stir fried Dry fried somen with handmade noodles 干煸炒面(手工面）was really tasy especially for children, the Uyghur Style Polo 羊肉手抓饭 was not only great but also a good portion, the Bostan special Lagmen 过油肉拌面was my favorite and reminded me of home (Afghanistan, there was something just so cozy about it. Im bummed I didnt try to the mantu but will do next time. Also the kabob was flavored well. "

This place isn't "a bit better" than whatever the runner up is, it blows the competition out of the water! The only complaint I could muster is that the soup dumplings tend to stick and break by the time they're delivered in DoorDash, but that's not the restaurants fault just the sad reality of delivery.
Portions are very generous and my wife makes two meals out of what she orders. I usually cannot control myself so I finish everything (lol) but it would be enough to split into two. Everything I've had is well and strongly seasoned which is a big deal given the competition (very weak flavors).

To provide context, we have ordered the food from DoorDash numerous times in the past and have never experienced issues with the quality of the food.
When we arrived home, we were excited to eat but were all extremely disappointed. The flavor of the general tso was off and extremely soggy. The crispy happiness was not crispy at all. "I placed an order for pick up. I ordered combo C + D. It had fried rice and the crispy pork dish (Tang Su Yuk). They packaged my order very nicely. There was a cardboard cut out serving as a base so the plastic bag wouldn't collapse in with all of my food. They also cut holes in the corner of the styrofoam containing the Tang Su Yuk so it wouldn't get soggy as it was transported. Both the fried rice and pork were rubber banded as well so it wouldn't accidentally open up. The sauce for the pork was placed in a separate container too so that it didn't make the fried pork soggy. They also included a side container of radishes and a dark brown sauce which I assume is the black bean sauce. It added saltiness and a umami flavor when added to the fried rice. The fried rice was delicious. I was worried it would be bland but it tasted good and the black bean sauce added extra flavor. The rice wasn't mushy and it tasted fresh and fragrant. I crushed the meal; there were no leftovers. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal."

"Very good, even though I wasn't in the MOOD for dumplings (somebody else WAS, so I went along with the plan). I wasn't disappointed. The Pork & Chinese Celery was very flavorful, especially with the slightly sweet teriyaki-like sauce that comes with it. And I've heard no complaints about the Pork & Shrimp either; so it must've been alright. Portion size was about average, I guess (10 PCs ), and it seemed fresh. I'm not much of a "dumpling kinda guy"; but I wouldn't object to getting this again. IMO, $1.50 per dumpling is a little more than I would expect, but I'm biased. I remember t-bone steak dinners for $4.95 and gas for 19¢ a gallon, so I might be a little out of phase with today's prices. Ya think? People used to buy houses for what a car costs now. Just sayin'. 🤙"
