I was actually excited to find tis restaurant on Door Dash, since my grandma was Romanian and I miss her cooking. So we ordered a selection – the potato salad appetizer, two soups, the 4-meat patties entrée called Mititei and the sweetbreads entrée, and a side of rice.
The potato salad was spoiled (!). They either did not refrigerate it properly or kept it for too many days but is was fermenting and went straight to the trash. The bean soup was serviceable, but the chicken soup had no flavor.
Come to the entrees - they only sent 3 meat patties instead of 4, and the rice was bland.
As for the sweetbreads, they called to tell me that they don’t have it available. I was fine with that and simply asked to be refunded. The guy on the phone insistent that he can’t refund me and was pushing me to order another entree. I wasn’t interested, so told him that it’s fine and I will simply ask Door Dash to refund me. Then all of the sudden he remembered that he can cancel an item on an order.
Bottomline – mediocre food, questionable hygiene, and hustling. My recommendation is to avoid this restaurant.

Instead of being smoky or well-seasoned like a proper choila should be, it felt like an oil-heavy plate with minimal balance. It ended up being more greasy than flavorful.
For the price, the portion and quality don’t justify the cost. I expected bold, fresh spices and char-grilled flavor, but what I got was flat and oily. I actually enjoyed my homemade meal more than this takeout.
A renowned establishment like Bajeko Sekuwa should honestly do better. The reputation sets a high expectation, and this dish didn’t come close to meeting it.

"The Beef Tehari was generously packed, just as my previous orders were. They did not mess around with the beef-to-rice ratio. I literally had a piece of beef with each spoon of rice, and still had four pieces left at the end after finishing the rice.
They were out of Pati Shapta, and they quickly issued the refund on that. I appreciate that they didn't simply leave it to me to ask DoorDash for a refund, which many places unfortunately do.
