"Honestly, Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar was pretty overhyped for me. I spent around $50 and unfortunately wouldn’t order again.
The Parmesan Brussels sprouts were bland, and the sauce on them felt unnecessary and didn’t really add anything to the flavor. The fries were also a pretty small portion. My chicken sandwich had way too much garlic spread/sauce—it was spread all over the bun and chicken to the point that I ended up not eating the bun at all.
The whiskey cake itself was decent and probably the best part of the meal, but even the packaging was disappointing because my cake box was left open.
The employee who gave me my order was nice and offered me a drink, which I appreciated. However, she went to the back and returned with the drink already opened with the straw placed inside. I know it was meant as a nice gesture, but from a food-handling/customer perspective, I would have preferred a sealed drink with the straw handed to me separately.

I judge a good breakfast chef by how well they handle the hash browns. Mine were perfect, crispy and seasoned just right. They did my over medium eggs perfect and the sausage was tasty. "Very disappointing, this location is terrible compared to the Pearland location. First time ordering from here and everything was so bad. Sad because we left a rave review for the Pearland spot. The chocolate pastry had barely any chocolate in it at all, for over 6 dollar you would think they would make it loaded, the other location gives you way more and tasted like we were just eating plain bread. The fruit they use here is so bad, again the other location gives the best fruit at peak flavor and ripeness, this one however had very poor fruit, all the strawberries were still green, like how does a self respecting French pastry bakery put junk like that out to customers and for the exorbitant fees they charge too? An almost 80 dollar order for a few pastries and coffee and almost all of it was not good and pathetic, the other location was always great and we ordered a few times a month but this place we will never order from again.
The only decent items were the Matcha Latte and the coffee croissant everything else we feel as though they just robbed us of our money. Most of the items had literally no taste and no flavor.
Do not recommend them at all. Go to the Pearland location instead much better quality.

The chicken Buffalo Fries were really good, but they needed a cheese sauce the shredded cheese does them no justice. Their fries are also great with the burger. I might try it again, their fries are awesome, but their burgers are definitely a no go for me."

(I have tried all the other ribeyes and love them ..!)The Alice Springs Chicken® was almost too Amazing.. whenever I can't make up my mind between two different dishes I order both of them and save the remaining for lunch the following day .. I almost finished the Alice Springs Chicken® and ate a little over a third of the Rockhampton Ribeye* 13oz. I only stopped eating to ensure I would enjoy eating the rest the following day. The order took almost 30min to arrive and it was still hot, still just as delicious as it would have been had I been in the restaurant itself. My only issue ordering from Outback Steakhouse is eating too much lol.. The Kolache's are some of the best we have had in Houston. Soft and slightly sweet bread and filled with delicious meats and cheese. Our favorites were the ham and cheese, the Jalapeno sausage and cheese, and the brisket.
The breakfast sandwich on croissant was good as well, tasted like actual breakfast sausage.
The donuts we tried were delicious and super soft like little clouds and the eclair was excellent, they actually fill their eclairs proper with lots of cream more than most places.
The Vietnamese coffees were great, strong like you'd expect and the matcha was amazing.
Overall we give them 9/10 very good and highly recommend."

"I hadn’t eaten at Taqueria Flores in years, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, I should have trusted my gut and saved my $40.
I ordered the tostadas, the crunchy taco special, and queso. I only wanted bean tostadas, but the order required me to select a protein, so I chose chicken. I even picked the food up myself, thinking that would ensure the tostadas and tacos were fresh and crunchy. I live only about four minutes away, but by the time I got home, everything was already soggy.
The tostadas had very little flavor and seemed to have more tomatoes and cheese than lettuce. The “crunchy” tacos were just as disappointing—they were soggy rather than crisp and lacked flavor as well.
The queso was another disappointment. It tasted sour and was surprisingly bland, with very little of the rich, cheesy flavor you expect from good queso. Between the soggy food and the sour-tasting queso, there really wasn’t anything about the meal that I enjoyed.
Both the tacos and tostadas were part of a buy-one-get-one-free special, but unfortunately, getting twice as much disappointing food didn’t make it a better deal.
Next time, I’ll stick with the food truck near Exxon. Their tacos and tostadas are made to order, fresh, crunchy, and packed with flavor. I really wanted to enjoy Taqueria Flores again, but this experience was a disappointment and definitely not worth the $40 I spent."
