The Large Fish & Chips lived up to it's name: Large pieces of Fish and so many "chips".
The Shrimp & Fries came in a large container as the F&C so I had a lot of fries. The Shrimp was tasty, flavorful and well-battered; although the batter could use SOME seasoning so the meats are not overwhelmed with plain dough.
The Sportsman Burg wasn't a standout to other burgers in town but it was definitely worth the cash. Hot, juicy and generously topped with patty, no smash, it's something I'd definitely buy again.
I'm a Coleslaw fanatic so I had hopes this'd hit the spot. I was underwhelmed by the dryness and imbalance of carrot v cabbage. However, for $2 for a large, I'd definitely order it again.
The Gravy was bland but thankfully not overwhelming salty. I added some S&P which brought it up to my liking. I'd reorder with fry meals.
Surprisingly, I received my Additional Tartar Sauce Packet packs. Usually restaurants "forget. 18ml packets"

"Worker making our food was completely incompetent. We ordered a Buy 1 Get 1 deal (3 tenders, a biscuit, a regular side ((fries)) and a regular drink). Obviously we bought 2 to get the deal- both ordered the same way. Then we paid $5 ($2.50 each meal) to upgrade to a LARGE drink EACH and have a SECOND side (both chose mashed potatoes). Yes this was a late night order and there was only one staff member on duty, however the convos we got were not complicated or hard to make. 6 tenders, 2 fries, 2 mashed potatoes, 2 biscuits, 2 dipping sauces, and 2 large drinks. INSTEAD we got: 6 tenders (if you can call them that from how small they are, more like little chicken fingers), 1 regular side of fries (that I had to argue for), 2 mashed potatoes, 2 biscuits, and 2 regular drinks. Argued with the woman at the front (after showing her my order multiple times) and she kept rolling her eyes and finally gave us large drink cups and made a batch of fries, though only agreed to give us 1 instead of the 2 we ordered and paid for. She didn't include our sauces (whatever) and when we finally got home an hour later we realized the 6 biscuits we paid for separately (like $7) was actually a pack of 4. "We chose the barbacoa for our regular tacos with no cilantro on anything, a mix of both tortillas and salsa roja. The tacos tasted fantastic and were so moist. The birria tacos are definitely superior with the corn tortilla while the barbacoa tacos with the flour, as the birria shells get crisped up a bit and that softens that sweet flavour of corn. The salsa had a nice touch of spice, and the consomme was rich and full of flavour - it also paired well with both taco types. The lime wedges were fresh and the chips tasted as expected. Working on an Indigenous advocacy art piece with an immediate deadline, and I needed some nourishment to keep me going...Spring Grill House is the go to!! This time I ordered a favorite; the AAA Beef Set and because I am working my way through the menu, I also tried the Honey Glazed General Tao Chicken for the first time. The beef set was delicious and familiar (a comfort for my autism) and there was a generous portion general tao chicken to enjoy (going to be a new go to item on the menu). The flavors are on point and the portions are satisfying. The deal I used was for a free Thai Iced Tea, just to try it out. It was creamy and sweet and cold....perfect for such a hot day. My only constructive criticism for staff packing the food, would be to pack the ice drinks in a separate bag because the ice melted next the hot food and watered down the drink by the time I got it (there was very little ice left). It's an easy fix and the quality of the food kinda makes it hard to be mad about the drink. 😉

"Top marks for flavor. Even the Edamame was flavorful within the pod (full transparency...I tried to eat the whole pod first 🤦 ...lesson learned). They were seasoned just right and the pods were soft enough to push the beans out with a little pinch (a few also flew in the air to some unknown location). The AAA Beef Set and Bacon Wrapped Asparagus (6 pcs) are two of my regular orders, and my three year old and I both get giddy every time we open the boxes. Absolutely delicious and filling.
