"That Oxtail meal was pretty decent and it this is my first time ordering food from this location. My appeared sufficent in terms of my portion size. The food was fresh and tasty, too! I see 👀 no reason "WHY?!!", I would'nt order from this place again. I received my order immediately; I took 1 look 👀 at my Instagram account, went upstairs and the driver was already sitting in his car in my driveway. Everything was perfect! So, I wrote this review to help your business; great food. I loved it 💓💓💓💓💓"

"Compared to the other Curry Goats I've had along Grand Ave, this is about bottom tier for me. Other places load my container up with Curry Goat while this place loads up the specific section. "The Fried Shrimp dinner was very good. The shrimp were fresh and large and cooked to perfection. I asked fo stew chicken gravy on my rice and peas. It was good. I was supposed to get Cole slaw with it but did not get it. I informed DD and they gave me a small credit to use for next time. The side of fried plantain was sweet and just right. "Always great! The portions were generous, the food was flavorful, and everything was packed with care. The oxtails were tender and well-seasoned, the rice was flavorful without being overwhelming, and the chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Definitely a hearty, satisfying meal with plenty of food for the price. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. I’d definitely order again!"

"The lamb Breezes Lamp Chop in Honey Mustard Sauce had absolutely no honey mustard sauce. I guess they must have forgotten it for the take out order. The mashed potatoes was also lacking in taste and it wasn't very creamy. It was very dissapointing considering the cost of the meal. My boyfriend enjoyed his Breeze's Irie Pasta with chicken added and I enjoyed the Breezes Walnut Shrimp. The Breadfruit was also not very great. Their bammy is always great though. "I was honestly surprised by the portion size when my order arrived. For a medium oxtail, I expected a more generous serving. I received two larger pieces of oxtail along with two much smaller pieces that were mostly bone. The oxtail itself was flavorful and tender, and the rice was good, but there wasn’t enough gravy to go with all of the rice. Overall, the food tasted great, but the portion size didn’t match my expectations, especially for the price. I hope they consider being more generous with both the oxtail and the gravy."
"We are a Caribbean family and the jerk chicken was tasteless, The "mixed vegetables" was just a small container of very old stewed cabbage. Even the plantains were pretty tasteless. We had leftovers but we threw them out."

First time ordering from this establishment and definitely won't be my last. I haven't had Jamaican food in a while and had a craving but I didn't know where to order from. "Ordered 2 oxtail meals (one with rice and peas and the other with white rice). THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! I was born and raised in JA and I was hesitant to buy JA food here on long island. "Having lived near the mile for 7 years, I've been on a quest for truly authentic jerk chicken. As someone who grew up in Queens, I know good Jerk, and this spot is the only one that's lived up to the hype. Believe me, I've tried them all! The flavor is incredible, perfectly capturing that classic jerk taste.
My only hesitation is the price. I recently paid close to $30 for a meal that felt more like an $18 value. While the taste is amazing, that price point might make me think twice about ordering again."
"Listen! Everything was so tasty that once I started eating it I couldn't put it down! I'm American and I Love good clean Caribbean food! The jerk chicken ; tasted clean and what I mean by that time was taken to prepare the chicken! As there are no veins ! Reminding me of my Caribbean girl friend who really made love to whatever she prepared! Thank you Jerk on the Water for recreating that experience for me ! It is an absolute must to dine here! As soon as my vision is restored I will be eating in house and not through Door dash ! In the mean time I will continue to order my meals from here. Even if it's a little more than cook unity or Nutre meal plans it's worth it! The coleslaw is banging and the Mac n cheese made for N appetizing meal ; chef, you put your foot in it!! I am ordering again! Do you make Irish moss? I'd love to experience some good fresh sea moss!"

"Great portion, great taste!!"
"I love oxtail and was excited to try theirs. My order came to a little over $40.00 and I felt though it was pricey, good oxtails is at times worth it. It was not tender, the gravy was overly sweet vs savory and overall taste was perhaps the worst oxtail that I have ever eaten. I also tried theirs shrimp Pattie...which was 6.75 that too was not very tasty. The rice and the vegetables were ok. They have a picture of rum cake but it says rock cake. I ordered a slice to see if it was actually rum cake or rock cake. Ps it was rock cake which is almost a cookie texture so there is an error on their website. I would not waste my money here unless it's for a regular spicy beef Pattie or bread. The authentic flavors that I know was definitely missing from both dishes. I want to say more but I don't want to be mean, just honest."

"Had the bandeja de pollo Al carbon which was delicious. Generous portion, rice and beans are delicious and fries. Ordered the side of maduros but they seemed undercooked, hard in the middle. The caramel flan is disgusting. Sweetest thing ever, straight up sugar, tastes nothing like a flan. I put some whipped cream on it to try to make it less sweet and more tolerable, but I couldn't eat it. The little cup ones at the super market taste better than that. Food was great, desert was awful and will never order that again. Maduros are hit or miss. "

The cassava and thickness of the soup was so full of flavor. I don't usually like bones but the depth of it from the chicken was delicious. It reminded me of childhood. The Cubano was crispy had all the elements but instead of the usual green mojo had a minced garlic oil spread and Yuca fries on the side. The pork was super tender, lean and flavorful. The Pollo a la plancha was excellently grilled with a nice salad with corn and sliced Avocado."
"The food was flavorful. I ordered 3 meals but I was so disappointed, for the price, the amount of rice provided. They gave me a large aluminum container with one cup of white rice in it. "The customer service here was amazing, I ordered 1 dozen Baked Patties, 6 were veggie and 6 were chicken. The patties are all labeled so i know what's what. The sweet plantains are fried to perfection, 10/10 overall experience!!"

"Honestly second day in a row ordering... new fav spot !!!!
So good ! Packaged well , more than enough food and it taste fire.
The jerk chicken is so good - moist , flavorful and not overly spicy.
Not sure how I've never seen or heard of this place before but so glad I know now"
"Were you low on veggies? I barely had much in my Plain Rasta Pasta..which defeats the purpose of this dish. I'm not sure what was the rush that you couldn't seal my container...you just left it open, and barely sealed. Anyways, the dish is amazing, it's fresh, and flavorful."

"The jerk chicken was phenomenal. Although I order it quite often, this is the first time I've ordered it and it has been less salty, which was PERFECT. it was fresh portion was just enough and the taste was on point."
"The packaging is terrible for the amount of money I'm spending on the food.
ALL of the oil spilled out of the container into the bag. It was very messy.
The boiled dumplings are grainy, they don't take great. Stick to the boiled provision and/or Fried Dumpling
Also there was more ackee than saltfish. I wasn't pleased at all.
The Cornmeal Porridge isn't bad. "

"Always a big portion and besides the chicken and yellow rice being yummy, the pernil is soooo very delicious! "
"Maduros were horrible, they smelled like old oil. Ruined the entire meal. The chicken stew was dry, dry chicken, one carrot, no potato, no stew sauce. Very disappointing. We order every in every Friday, this place is to expensive to order again for lunch. The lemonade however was delucious."
