"I have been looking for food like this in Houston for a while. It's plentiful in Chicago where I lived before but not so many places here. The Beef Dumplings In Broth (Pelmeni) were fire, the Beef & Beet Soup (Ukrainian Borsch) was hearty and meatier than I expected. The Baked Meat Pie (Somsa) was a particular favorite, meat perfectly seasoned and the pastry crispy and perfect. Potatoe Mushroom Dumplings (Perogies) hit the spot also, larger than I thought they'd be. Kampot - Fresh Juice was nice, though a bit pricy. Would order it all again, no hesitation."

"First time trying this place. The samosas are large and so tasty. The only thing is that I have to put it back in the oven to toast them up because they got soft on their way here. Otherwise, excellent.
The lamb shank is tender, rice pilaf is done beautifully just heavy handed with the raisins. With the cucumber salad on the side, I got naan to go along with it. My 100% Afghani partner who came to the states from Afghanistan back in 2022 was at a truck stop resting in between trips and he was in the mood for Real Authentic Afghanistan food just like home.
The Kabuli pulao was excellent, he said the meat was fresh. This satisfied him and was authentic and approved.
(If you're new to Afghani food, your first try should always be the Kabuli Pulao, as that is Afghanistans national dish!)
The Naan was also perfect, he said it was "really good naan" - another approval!
Now he didn't order anything else, so we don't know how the rest of the food tastes, but if they got the Kabuli Pulao right then it deserves a 5 star rating !
The food came with salat (fresh veggies) on the side to crunch on between bites which gives to refreshness .
Portion was standard for Kabuli Pulao which is A Lot in my opinion. 2 people could share one portion if they wanted to.

The liver and shakshuka are beyond delicious!!! It’s impossible to stop eating you get really full but keep telling yourself, “just one more bite,” and then another... until you become over stuffed reaching a point all what you can do is lie down, close your eyes and have a big smile hhhh! They’re on a whole different level yumminess!
The foul also was good, and the hummus was tasty too, but I didn’t really enjoy the meat topping it had a meaty oily smell that wasn’t for me.
But once again, the stars of the meal were the Kibda (Liver) and the Shakshooka Scramble I’ve had them many times at the restaurant and I didn’t expect them to arrive this good as delivery -considering we don’t live close. But they were just as perfect as eating them at the restaurant & even better as this time I could go straight to the only thing you truly need after a meal like this,, lying down and fully embracing the food coma :)!!

1. 4 huge lampchop pieces with a lot of meat to the bone. Very flavorful, slight kick with spices. You can tell they took their time to marinate the meat. Seasoned down to the bone. I like how charred and smokey the chops are. Very authentic, you can tell this is not being rushed and made with love!
2. Yellow rice is very fresh & soft.
3. Fries are not too crispy/hard & not too soft/soggy, there's a good medium. I also like that there is a perfect amount of salt on them. An excessive amount of salt is not necessary.
4. Side salad comes with chopped cilantro, tomato and cucumber pieces. Also very fresh & not wilted
5. Pita bread is pretty normal. Would recommend for it to be wrapped in foil to preserve its softness and freshness.
6. Automatically comes with a drink which is an extra plus!
7. Comes with two garlic sauces, a red hot sauce & some kind of salsa sauce (i am not sure what to compare it to).

One more thing: if you’re serving food in a box that needs to stay flat, don’t package it in a handled bag the moment the dasher lifts the bag by the handles the food slides into a corner. Of course the one who picks it up should carry it carefully too but the packaging should be designed to prevent that from happening in the first place. Simply use bags with a wider base for these orders so it stays flat during transport.
Overall, this is a hard pass for me."
