I am also EXTREMELY allergic to shellfish and Mandarin Asian Bistro is the ONLY place in town I am confident in. I have tried every single place that offers sushi (even Publix) and I have gotten sick at all of them, except here. They take excellent care when I inform them and completely understand my allergies/needs and take great care in ensuring there's no cross-contamination. "This is the best Mexican food in Jacksonville! I've gone to the restaurant and ordered from here multiple times, and it's always fantastic!
I got the Steak OR Chicken Fajita, which I chose chicken and it was delicious and packaged very nicely. It came with a salad and tortillas as well.
My husband got the Monster Chimichanga and he said it was absolutely amazing and everything tasted fresh and just like it does in the restaurant. It was our first time trying plantains and we really recommend the dish!
The portions were huge just like in the restaurant so we had leftovers and luckily the containers they came in could easily be closed back up and put in the fridge.
We also got the Cheese Dip and Large Salsa but I did not take pictures of those. However, they both tasted exactly like it would dining in and was just as fresh. The salsa is quite large I would say its in a medium sized cup?
