"This location on Parkside is fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn't click on correct location yesterday. I clicked on Hardin Valley. It was a huge mistake. The bowl was heavy on white rice and I asked for Mexican. The beef tasted like it was boiled which is a tasteless. One inch squiggle of sour cream, tsp oflettuce. "First time ordering and wow, the nachos were fantastic, the chips are thick, crispy, fresh and clearly house made. The roast was so tender and juicy and worth the extra charge! I somehow didnt get my jalapenos or clianto which are the best parts of the nachos BUT the pico was amazing and had the cilantro and jalapenos in it! 10/10 would recommend, just get the wet toppings on the side!
The fried green tomatoes did not come with the aioli on them or on the side like I requested, and normally I wouldnt eat fried green tomatoes without sauce, but the flavor is so incredible that you dont even need it! The cornmeal stayed on the tomatoes and they were still pretty crispy after a 30 minute drive here.
Overall, the food was so fresh and had so much flavor. Just wish these restaurants could get one order right, we're paying over $30 for a meal, just to have 2-3 ingredients missing and dips forgotten, if they can get that right, they are well above majorty of restaurants in the area. Will definitely be ordering again! "

"Let me address this first. Not sure what Jessie T is talking about with the portions being too small. I am never able to finish mine in one sitting. I always have leftovers. I've ordered from here multiple times and have yet to be disappointed. It's always fresh, hot and beyond tasty. Jessie also compared them to "other Indian restaurants". This is NOT an Indian restaurant. This is Indo Mex Fusion and as far as I know, the only place like it in the Knoxville area.
