"Let me say that I love Hungry Man's food and will continue to eat there. But my initial issue with the Escoveitched Fish (this is my 2nd time ordering it), that for the price, the fish size is small compared to other whole body fish meals I get from other spots , still stands. This meal felt more like $25 not $36. My other Jamaican spot that had a really good-sized snapper dinners for $34 (and their fish was really good) stopped serving fish altogether (maybe due to cost or supply chain issues?), but I had a hankering for escoveitch (and felt too lazy to make my own) so I decided to try HM's again. The peas and rice was good as always (and there was a lot of it), and the fish was cooked well but just ok flavor wise tho the pickle was tasty and worked when eaten together of course. But overall, in comparison, not a completely satisfying meal for me personally for the price once you factor in delivery and tip ($52). It would be nice if they could find creative ways to be a little more generous with the fish if possible. But still, I love their food. "

"I was feeling snacky today, so I pretty much ordered all appetizers/starters. Everything was great. Spicy Papaya Salad was different than expected, but still very interesting and delicious. The tobiko adds a fun pop. The Lumpia was tasty and wraping was very crisp, even after being delivered. The Chicken Wings were the star of the show. I love these wings. They are the absolute best wings ever. I could eat multiple orders of them. The citrus brine is phenomenal and the crunch unmatched.

"This was my first time eating Fufu & Egusi Soup with Oxtails. Food was still quite hot when I started eating it. The Fufu itself is soft and smooth to eat & easy to swallow. The Egusi soup from what I heard has a kick of spice, but this was just a mild spicy level and among the other ingredients of the Egusi it was really good. The oxtails were good as well, but my portion had more fat than the meat itself which was kinda disappointing. Overall, I'd rate this Yam Fufu W/Egusi + Oxtail a 7/10.
Lastly, as soon as I saw they had Soursop juice I had to buy it because that is one of my favorite flavors when it comes to drinks and I love how the juice isn't too watered down, 8/10. Would I order this again ? Not exactly and by that I mean I would order the Fufu and Egusi with a different type of meat next time and an extra portion of the Yam as well."
