Now the food! The food here is incredible. The Falafel over Rice(vegetarian) was SO fresh. The falafel was flavorful and arrived hot, as was the rice. They offer different sides; I ordered it with salad and hummus. Delicious! The platter was generous and I had leftovers for later. The salad was made with lettuce, cabbage, chickpeas, cucumbers, onion, and tomato. Yum! I had the traditional white sauce on the salad and falafel. I also ordered half a pita to eat my hummus with. Next time I'll order a whole. There was enough hummus for a whole pita (which was warm, soft, and fresh).

I have always loved Gyros, I have been going to Grecian Delight for over 20 years because I love their Gyros. Until I ordered one from Hook's about 6 months ago. Hook's Gyro is HUGE, and so incredibly delicious! Nothing can compare to the inc taste and the gigantic size. They are bigger than burrito that you get from Hot Heads, they are loaded with a ton of delicious meat then topped with fresh lettuce, onion, tomatoes, and cucumber sauce. I order one at least once a week and could never get tired of them because they really do taste that amazing. For around $12 you are getting a gyro so large it is almost impossible to eat all of it at once and fries are included. You can barley get a nasty combo meal at the chain restaurants for that price. I also LOVE their breaded mushrooms! Hook's is amazing. I'm not sure how it is possible but it tastes better every time I eat there. I recommend Hook's to absolutely loves delicious quality food, and thank God they keep it so affordable too."

"I gave this place a try as I felt like something healthy. I figured I'd cave and get a "corporate slop bowl." I ordered the Harvest Bowl as I love sweet potato and many of the ingredients. Hummus + Focaccia also got added as I wanted some bread and I love hummus. it arrived, and even bearing in mind that I didn't eat in the location, everything looked OLD, as in the apples looked like they sat out for the better part of a day, and the chicken had a stench. I took some bites and stopped after about 6 bites realizing that I did not enjoy this one bit. The Hummus + Focaccia tasted fine, but they only provided me about 2 tablespoons of hummus...what an expensive mediocre side! I shall not eat or order here again. This represents the worst of the "corporate slop bowl" mentality that seems to infect our food culture ever since people decided to go with "burrito bowls" instead of eating a proper burrito. Call them what they really should get called...a slop bowl. DISAPPOINTING."
