"For the ridiculous price I expected way more. The portions were already very small for what the price point is, but for an extra 6-7 bucks you get a very underwhelming extra portion of protein. The rice was, rice. The Mac salad was okay. The corn salad tasted awful and old and looked nothing like the photo. The chili crisp wasn't crisp at all and had no taste, which describes just about the whole meal, no taste. The Protein is the only thing that has any type of taste. The cabbage that the meal comes with had more taste than the other sides. Ordering a large bowl made no difference either. The coconut shrimp looks good at first glance but will taste like absolutely nothing. I can honestly say that those saying this is good Hawaiian bbq have probably not tried anything else in the vicinity. Ono Hawaiian bbq is way better than that with better prices and portions as well. Wouldn't recommend ordering from here."

Most frustrating was the picture of the Japanese fried chicken, which appears to be actual pieces of fried chicken as in breast, thighs, etc. However what came were  inedible, tough tiny pieces of what appear to be rejects from the bottom of a chicken McNugget storage bin. The rice dish was just that, and being 98% stale rice topped with literally two or three pieces of my ordered proteins. The beef was tough, and the shrimp was rancid.  I strongly recommend to avoid this restaurant at all costs. What's even more exasperating is they are one of the most expensive Japanese restaurants in Los Angeles and as I said the absolute worst"
