"Best vegan breakfast ive had in a longgg time! The BYO Breakfast Sandwich was flavorful, filling, and didnt fall apart as you ate it. The Caffè Latte may be the smoothest and tastiest coffee ive ever had and dont get me started on the Lemon Blueberry Scone (V)
!!!! Sooooo soft and yummy. Tasted like it was made with the freshest ingredients. Thank you so much for a great start to my day! "
"While the coffee drinks are delicious (got a chai latte and Caffè Latte), the BYO Breakfast Sandwich (VO) is SO SMALL in comparison to an average breakfast sandwhich and also very expensive for the size. Also, they're not kidding ,the pepper jack is spicy!!! "

"Samosa is delicious, I like how the potatoes lose coherence in the mixture.
Why is the Tikka Masala watery, sweet and unflavored? I'm consuming sweet red water with chicken in it.

"Was really missing the closedown of the Blue Bell location so I ordered here. Butter Chicken was cheap and super filling, Garlic Naan was cooked well. Packaging was still hot after 20 minutes! Mango Lassi was very refreshing. The chicken was very large chunks and the amount given was larger than other places. I will order from here again in the future."
"My goodness! This restaurant instantly became one of my favs! The Butter Chicken was delicious (very grateful that it came with some rice) and the Naan was delicious as well! The serving size was also wonderful for the price! Definitely ordering from here again!"

"Venn Pongal's quantity has been increased since my previous review. It is okay in quantity now for the price. The food is very good and overall a very good Indian restaurant in the city!"
"The Kothu Parotta and the Masala Dosa were absolutely delicious- they're always our go to orders when are at Amma's/get takeout from them . Flavorful and filling. The Masala Dosa is definitely better served at the restaurant because the filling is kept separate from the dosa and after delivery time, the dosa is not as warm. Still, flavors are great. The Rasamalai was tasty but portions were small (only 3 pieces) and overpriced, texture of the cheese was denser than I've had at other places but still great. The Tamarind Fish curry (Meen Kulambu) was sweet, nice to try but not necessarily something I would order again. Overall I love Amma's- my favorite Indian spot in Philly. "

"Took amazing care of us and the food was absolutely wonderful. We got a wide variety of dishes so far and liked everything we ordered. My wife loved the chicken tikka masala, which is usually too spicy for her but their mild was just right. The lamb melted and barely needed chewing. Fantastic place with amazing Indian food. "
"I was a little hesitant ordering from a restaurant with no reviews, but boy did it pay off! The butter chicken, chicken saag, and veggie pakora were all packed with flavor and absolutely delightful. In fact, the pakora were so good I ended up eating all of them before I even unpacked the rest of my food. "I've lived in Philadelphia for over 15 years and am finally done looking for my go-to for take out Indian. All the dishes we ordered were seasoned well and appropriately for the different types of vegetables and curries. Often, I find from other restaurants that all the dishes taste the same. At Taste of Punjab, the Palak Paneer, Dal Tadka, Bhindi Masala and Chicken Tikka Masala all had different complex flavor profiles and were devoured. Also, the Garlic Naan was fluffy and delicious. I will be ordering from here again and again. Tasted just like mama makes at home! You won't be disappointed!"

"Absolutely loved the Beef Bhuna Rasmalai Butter Naan everything hit the spot! and this coming from a desi food habitual critic. Cant believe the prices too, the naan was huge and properly weighty enough for one. Rasmalai is perfect and a steal at 4 bucks, you get 5 plus cheeses a whole meal by itself. Beef was absolutely delicious just like how I remember from back home absolutely devoured it. Something that needs improvement is packaging, a plastic bag is not proper. Loved the meal tho"

Both of the ice creams were severely frost burned, with hard ice covering the containers. When I got the lids off, the ice cream looked old, frost burned and like it had previously melted and was refrozen. It was just all so sad in the end..."

"Loved the spice level and the taste is purely nostalgic, reminds me of India and truet flavor. Have eaten at the store and now eating it in delivery tastes same. Good quality and will definitely order again"
"It is okayish if you consider authentic Indian food. But it is closest to Indian food that you can get in Philly. So worth a try for the price. Other places are expensive. This is cheap and good. Veggie Samosa was really good. Paneer Wrap was really really spicy for no reason. Chicken Biryani and Pav Bhaaji were okay. "

"the Butter Chicken was packed with flavor, the sauce was plentiful and creamy. both type of rice tasted very fresh. the yellow rice in particular was my favorite, the saffron flavor was amazing. i would order again. the garlic naan was like the cherry on top!"
"The raita was seeet for some reason and I asked for extra raita and didn't receive my extra one. But I'm glad I didn't bc I actually didn't like it. The portion size is actually crazy. It's pretty small for what they're charging. The rice for the hyderbadi Chicken biriyani wasn't cooked properly and was kind of undercooked. I wasn't too happy with my order and won't be ordering from them again"

"That was the BEST Gobi Manchurian and Plain Naan I have had in years. The Chicken Tikka Masala had delicious but the chicken portion was rather small for the price. "
"I got the butter chicken and cheese naan. Butter chicken was pretty good. It was creamy, rich, tangy, and had a good amount of chicken to suffice for a meal. The cheese naan however, was flimsy and had no cheese in it at all. Overall, I think this place is a little overpriced but I would still try to order again "

"I love the chicken Biryani, super flavorful and enough for 2 meals. The medium is spicy but not too much. My husband doesn't generally much like Indian but he loves Chili Chicken, and I love it too. With Basmati Rice it's enough for an entire meal. We've ordered from here several times, the foods always delicious and arrives quickly "
"Management must have changed food was not good. Our cauliflower was burnt beyond edible recognition and I'm 99% positive they gave us 2 order of chicken tikka not butter chicken. The portions were so small there was 3t tiny pieces of chicken. Also, they were delayed prepping and our dasher dropped us and I had to go pick it up."

"As always the Kashmiri Naan was excellent. They even put a sizeable amount of raisins in it. I'm happy, because I luv raisins.
The Vegetable Samosa were excellent also.
I did not like The Veggie Pakora. I'm sure it was air fried because It was not crispy-It was kinda soft. A mouthful of mush"
"I order from (or dine at) Saffron in Bala Cynwyd sometimes. This is a different Saffron completely, and not as good. Samosas are very salty outside and mushy inside. All of the sauces are quite runny. The flavors aren't bad, so maybe it's better when it's not so late at night?"

"Veggie Samosa was amazing.. Cauliflower Manchurian was good, different from the Gobi Manchurian I'm used to, but still tasty. Rice was perfect!!
Only bad part was no silverware or napkins. Luckily I had some with me, but took delivery at a hotel. Just a heads up for the restaurant.
Definitely would recommend though!"

"Biiiiig fan of the Palak Paneer, it's sweeter than other varieties I've had but I love it. Garlic Naan was very large and delicious and soft.
