This visit, I've noticed that it is package differently with the SHRIMP & GRITS BREAKFAST in one container and the potatoes and eggs in another. Needless to say it is still as delicious as it was when I first ordered it five years ago, so do yourself a favor and order the shrimp and grits. The portions are huge and always fresh. It's the most consistent, delightful, easy, insanely quick, uniquely NOLA comfort food ever, in my book. No matter the time of day or night, the quality remains unmatched. They've never messed up my order a single time, they send you an entirely full bag of stuffs (condiments, butter, syrup, utensils, napkins...), I mean, it's just the little touches like that, coupled with really shocking great food, a wide range of menu options, being open at the wild and crazy hours I finally decide to eat, and their excellent consistently prompt service that sets them apart. Oh and I guess it's worth noting that it's so reasonably priced for the massive amount of food they give you... like an -overflowing portions we eat on for 3 consecutive meals- kinda deal.
It feels as close to a home cooked meal made with love in your mom's New Orleans kitchen, more than anywhere similar.
