"Absolutely incredible. It was my first time ordering after eyeing them on here for a minute, and im so glad I finally did because I love it, the falafel is moist, they use pickles in the wraps which I LOVE! They have big portions for the side of curly fries, and the hot sauce is spicy too which I love. I got the grilled halloumi on the side and omg drool! It's all so amazing. 10/10"
"Oh, this hit the spot tonight. The lamb and shrimp kabobs were both excellent-- a hint of char, loads of flavor. Rice had a complexity comparable to that of far more expensive spots nearby. Highest recommendation. "

"This place is literally perfection. Always delicious. The cali bowl is so filling, the lemon chicken soup always hot and amazing, and the pita bread omg... it's so good! Love this place and the friendly faces who work here!"
"The Dolma (4 Pieces) are DELICIOUS! I love the addition of pomegranate. The Cali Bowl is great, creamy tahini and veggies are perfect together. The Crispy Cauliflower is definitely NOT crispy. It is mushy. Flavor is off; needs work.
Falafel (5 Pieces) also needs work; they were small and overcooked. "

"I am pregnant and was ready to kill for some Dolmas (warak enab). These hit, but the real star was the Baba Ghannouj, I could order again and eat just this- and there's enough that'd make two meals. I'm going to have left overs for days. Also they gave a little extra baklava, which was so crispy and delicious. 10/10."
"Everything here is stellar 👍 the staff included, if you go in. They always hook it up with portions and little thankyous. Often overlooked but highly underrated imo is the lentil soup. Just get a bowl to have on hand for some munchies. Super good."

"Everything was super flavorful! I love the tzaziki, baba ghanoush, and the falafels together! Kifta kebabs are so rich and herbaceous. The portions are very generous! Easily 2-3 meals. "
"I used to live by this spot, so I've had it in the restaurant and now as take out multiple times. The kabob plate is solid! Just consistently so juicy and flame grilled. "The Falafel Pita was delicious and generous. I added cucumbers but they were in my opinion sliced too thin. Must other Greek Food I have eaten has larger crunchy cukes. A minor complaint. Pita was fresh and warm. A good lunch. I would order again but probably not add the cukes since they did not add crunch and just blended with the tatziki."
"Ordered the Gyro Bowl, Beef/Lamb Gyro Pita for dinner as a treat for my 95 year old client. I hardly ever door dash food because of the price increase. It could be better if i didn't door dash it. Not to drag the restaurant. The meat was dry and I didn't enjoy the flavors . I wouldn't order from here again. $56 after topping the dasher a fair amount. Without door dash fees $36 is still too much for this food. If you want a gyro bowl or sandwich go to Original Pollo in Berkeley. It's the best."

"The Beef Gyro Platter is always amazing. They're pricey but are big enough for two meals easily, but I'd also recommend getting an order of pita on the side if they have it(for some reason I couldn't on my order but ive never had this issue before). The 2 - Pieces Honey Sriracha Falafel was amazing, so much so that my order will be changing to this in the future. They're tender, slightly sweet, and fruity with the slightest heat in the aftertaste."
"Very greasy. Basic. slices of gyro seemed like ends meat. Sauce comes in a packet. Pita was dry. Maybe I got spoiled with the good Greek food in Detroit, but this seems like
They are just pumping out low quality fast food with a care for quality. Where's the pride?"

"The chicken curry is sour, but a very good portion for the price. The white and green sauces are sour. The chicken and lamb kabobs are okay, also a bit sour. The rice is average. The salad is average. The samosas are okay. The mango lassi is okay. I'm not sure if the food went bad or if it's just sour. Don't recommend it"

"Chicken Shawerma Snack simple and delicious! The pickles give the wrap a nice crunch and the chicken is nicely seasoned. The garlic sauce is super garlicky, which I love! I added a side of Hot Sauce and it's great. Plenty of spice, nice and bright, not at all smokey."
"The Mediterranean Plates is very tasty: the falafel is nice and crispy, and the baba ghanoush is just the right amount of smoky. I really like that it comes with a salad. The first time I got it, I felt like it was a good bargain. The second time, there was less of the baba ghanoush and the hummus (and no olives in the salad), and this time there wasn't even half of the serving cup of baba ghanoush! The hummus was a lot less, too. They also only give three-quarters of a pita, and there's no way to order more. So, overall, good food, but inconsistent servings."

"I have ordered the middle eastern plate with pomegranate chicken for 20 years enjoyed it every single time. I can't believe how consistently delicious this restaurant is. The full size bag of pita is the HUGE. Enough for a large dinner party. The avgolemono is the best I've had."
"The Greek salad was not Greek at all — just some leaves with a bland dressing. The chicken was dry and tasteless. The rice was okay but nothing special. And the tiny portion of hummus (in a container) was so small it didn’t even feel worth eating. Terrible experience — I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone."

"This is consistently the best real juicy grilled Cheeseburger with so much flavor, amazing bun, perfectly seasoned and the most incredible fresh cut crisp but moist large French Fries in the east bay if not the Bay Area . So glad these chefs and workers here put a lot of love and care into the food. I know the people who have ordered here know what I mean. Even the salads rival way more upscale restaurants. Couldnt be more grateful for this small humble restaurant with a gigantic offering in the decade of small Berkeley $50 pizzas which could never rival jerusalem organic. "
"Everything on the Combo Shawarma Platter was delicious. Both the chicken and the lamb schwarma were moist and flavorful. "Love the falafel wrap. Sure it's wrapped up in paper for hold-peel-eat convenience & wrap-maintenance. I still need a plate for all the tasty cukes & falafel parts that tumble out. Squirt in some Troy's spicy red sauce and that wrap gets devoured! And all those escaped toms., pita pieces, lettuce, etc.? The plate is picked clean so nary a speck of feta, falafel, or a drop of sauce remains. Sooo good.
Oh, the Greek salad is great, too! "
"The Lamb Souvlaki Platter was not up to par from previous dining experiences. It was very small in portion, dry and flavorless. The rice did not taste fresh and the zucchini veggies were soggy. The Chicke Souvlaki Plattern was similar. The chicken may have been a little better but the rest was just not worth the money at all. Would have done better with a frozen dinner from Safeway."

"The couscous tastes very good, and I really enjoy ordering it from your restaurant. I have been a regular customer for a long time. However, recently, I noticed that the amount of broth is too small compared to the amount of couscous. There is not enough broth for all the couscous. Also, the vegetables are not fully cooked. I know traditional Algerian food very well, and the vegetables in Algerian couscous should be completely cooked and tender. Please make sure to provide enough broth and cook the vegetables properly. I really love your food and would like to continue ordering from you. Thank you so much"
"The Hummus was a dry paste with big chunks of raw garlic in it and the container wasn't sealed properly so it leaked all over the bag.

"In general, despite the high prices, I really like the quality of their ingredients and how delicious the food is. I’d consider this one of the top Persian restaurants in terms of taste and quality.
However, I was disappointed with the customer service. I called to ask if they could simply add a piece of raw onion to my order, which is a typical side served with many Persian dishes. Surprisingly, I was told that I should have requested it through the app, and they refused to add it. For such a simple request, especially considering their prices, I found the response unnecessarily inflexible and disappointing."

"25. Saltah the soup was AMAZING, so flavorful and with a nice little kick of spice. I added some of the rice to it from my Half grilled chicken plate. Everything was perfectly seasoned, I'm so glad I've found this place. It's a favorite now."

"I absolutely love this bowl. It's really filling and delicious. The only issue is when I order extra protein, it doesn't usually seem like there's more so I ordered it without and I am pretty sure I was right. Not sure if it's an accident on the chefs side, but I've definitely been paying for extra protein and not receiving it. Still a good bowl. The brownies are killer. Wish I knew what the macros and calories were tho."

"Their Cheeseburger with fries is a very good and economical deal. I'd definitely order it again if I need a well-placed little bundle. Acceptable portions and pretty fresh with a good taste. The Garlic sauce goes well on the fries."
"Delicious! My go-to is the Chicken Shawarma Plate. The meat is always tender and flavorful. I've only ordered fries once for delivery; they were still warm and a perfect cook on them. I always order extra Toum (the garlic sauce) to have on hand so I can add flavor to any other dish I might make. Great Yemeni food, great value for the $$. "

"I think this is some of the best food in the East Bay and am so happy they are also on DoorDash for days when getting out of the house is tough. I love any of pide sandwiches, the bread is so fresh and soft and the fillings are generous, well cooked, and absolutely delicious. "

"The QABULI PALLAW with lamb was amazing. I enjoyed every bite. I have eaten this dish in many places and I like how this spot doesn't give you the lamb bone and all the fat. You get the meat with rice, carrots and raisins along with 3 sauces and Afghani Naan. 🔥🔥🔥
I look forward to more meals from this place."
"Ordered a few times but really can't justify the high cost. Ordered LAMB KABOB today.. while the lamb was fairly flavorful, it was super dry and very well done. The portion was on the smaller side. And the vegetables were super generic, like they bought them frozen and threw them in a pan. No large grilled tomatoes, onions, or peppers like at all other good Persian restaurants.
Also, they forgot my dessert. Really wish I hadn't burned by chase credit on this place. Not a good value for the money so can't recommend this place."

"DEEEEE-LICIOUS!!!
The eggplant was so flavorful and the yogurt was so good, I could probably eat it out of a bowl! The rice was flavorful and cooked just right. The Bolani Potatoes were so plentiful! And also quite good. I would DEFINITELY order from here again! I would love to try something new, but I'd probably order the same because it was so good! "
"Wow - this is the best delivery Ive ever had on Door Dash.
The food is good. Had the Double Combo - chicken reminds me of chicken tikka and the tri tip was cooked well and tasted really good.
The Aush soup was a random choice - but yes!! Came pretty warm (microwaved it a bit in the container it comes in). Nice noodles and good soup.

"LITTI CHOKHA and Dahi Vada Chaat both were amazing. Loved the authentic taste."
"I was looking forward to the food because of all the great reviews! I ordered delivery due to recovering from a medical procedure. I wanted to treat myself because of having gone through all that.
The chicken biryani is supposed to come with a whole Cornish hen --- it literally says this on their menu. The TINY container only included a quarter of that. It was so sad-looking. I had imagined that even if they couldn't fit the whole hen, that they would maybe split it into at least two containers? I would've expected more for a menu item that cost $32. It was also supposed to include garlic raita, which was nowhere to be seen.
I also got the much-raved-about Alleppey fish & prawn curry ($34), which similarly left much to be desired. The gravy here actually didn't taste that different from the biryani's korma sauce.
Disappointed in what feels like lesser quality and care when it comes to folks who aren't able-bodied enough to eat at the restaurant. If you're ordering to-go/delivery, definitely DO NOT order the chicken biryani or the fish and prawn curry. You'll wish you saved the money/Doordash credits. I don't think I'd order from here again.
