I placed an order directly through the restaurant for delivery, and it took over an hour to arrive. Unfortunately, the delivery experience was poor; the driver smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which was quite off-putting when receiving food.
Regarding the meal:
- I Love New York Sandwich: I could barely taste the spicy mustard or the Russian sauce on the pastrami and corned beef. Additionally, the bread was toasted to a flaky texture, which is an unsuccessful choice for a Reuben.
- Sides: At $2.50, the side pickle was surprisingly small and simply cut in half. For the price, the value was not there.
- Chicken Caesar Salad: This was very bland. While the chicken appeared to be seasoned, there was no actual flavor to it.
Between the long wait, the delivery issues, and the lack of seasoning, I found the experience to be overpriced and underwhelming. I will not be ordering from here again."

I ordered DoorDash because I'm stuck in a hotel here in Nebraska. The order was delivered- No silverware. Nothing to eat with. That's just an obvious thing when somebody gets a to-go order, especially through DoorDash. No napkins. Nothing. Maybe that's supposed to be the DoorDash person's job, I have no idea, but throwing a fork in there would have been great. (The bag was completely stapled so my delivery guy couldn't have put anything in there anyways. I like that my food was staple chest, so nobody messes around with it, but then stick a fork in there for me.)
But onto the next thing. The smothered chicken I have to say was really good! Greasy, but good (greasy as in the whole container bottom was soaked with it). But why are you gonna worry about grease when you're eating the chicken smothered in white pepper gravy? You're already killing yourself , so what's a little grease. I also got the salt and pepper brussels sprouts- they were amazing and the collard greens were good too. I'm all about my veggies.
I treated myself to brown butter pecan pie. This is where it gets dicey. I paid seven dollars for this piece of pie. I'm going to include a picture because I think it's important to see what I got for seven dollars. Now some of you may say I'm fine with spending seven dollars for that piece of pie, great. But for those of you who aren't I want you to see so that you don't make a mistake."
