"Little pricy vs before but tasty food"
"I genuinely do not understand the ratings for FEZ Shawarma. Before my order was even prepared, I called and asked if I could switch my order to the Saj Platter, which was actually cheaper than the plate I originally ordered. I was told no, even though it would have cost them less.
Then the food arrived and somehow got even worse. I left specific instructions, and none of them were followed. My plate showed up with no hummus, no garlic sauce, barely any potatoes, no pita bread, and a pile of dry, disgusting meat.
Seriously, how do you give somebody a shawarma plate with no hummus and no garlic sauce? Those are basic parts of the meal. Instead, I got a container full of dry meat, about four potatoes, and no pita bread. It was incomplete, poorly prepared, and felt like nobody cared what was being sent out the door.
The customer service was just as disappointing as the food. I called ahead to make a simple change to a cheaper platter and was told no. Then the order arrived missing half of what makes a shawarma plate a shawarma plate.
They should be ashamed of the quality they’re serving customers. I’ve ordered shawarma from plenty of places in Ottawa, and this was easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Shawarma Palace is a million times better in terms of quality, portions, and consistency. Save your money and order elsewhere."

"The lokmas were fantastic! Light and airy but still hearty enough to hold the sauce drizzle on top, they were a lot more like the Greek loukoumades I remember from my childhood than I thought.
They aren't *filled* like the treats from my childhood, but that really isn't an issue when you can top them with so many things.
I went for the salted caramel and the limited edition bueno topping and got 5 of the former and 7 of the latter, but because I was splitting them with my mother anyways, that just meant she got to try both, so no issue there.
The kogo looked just like the korean corn dogs I'd seen on youtube, so how could I resist ordering one? The crispy potato add-on was just what it said on the tin: crispy, and after a couple bites (then adding a little ketchup and yellow mustard of my own) I devoured it hungrily. Didn't slip of the skewer even once and went perfectly with the lokmas, as funny as that might sound.
I'd definitely get it again in future, so I'd recommend it, too! Looking forward to trying them in-person the next time I'm in the area."

"I ordered the chicken over rice and my daughter had the lamb over rice with their white sauce as we have dubbed it the :Oh God" sauce. The meat was moist flavorful and seasoned to perfection.
