"Create your own pizza is awesome. You can't go wrong. The sauce is flavorful, and not sweet. Any topping is top notch. Their pastais fresh and delicious.I love the mushroom ravioli and the vodka penne. The portions are generous. You can't go wrong. This is my go to Italian restaurant."
"The Spaghetti Pomodoro sauce is too thick, they give you too much sauce so it feels more like a stew than pasta, and they overcook the noodles. Was hoping for fresh light sauce, but I've ordered the ponodoro from Melo's twice and both times it was thick, heavy and way too much. The noodles are clearly fresh but they over cooking them... I kind of wonder if all the extra sauce they put in the box is overcooking the noodles while being delivered."

The crust is really good, Brooklyn style. Ingredients on the Dolce El Picante (Ex-Large 20") are excellent.
The honey drizzle on the crust was bit messy but not a deal breaker."

"The bolognese was not bolognese and barely had any sauce. It was a small portion of spaghetti and super dry. The meatballs was the same and the meatballs were hard as a rock. "Portions are ok but not very original. Feels like plain basic Italian. Ordered meatballs with the Alfredo and it was 2 baby meatballs (1 inch in diameter) and the mozzarella sticks looked like ones you buy at the grocery frozen section. Fettuccine cream was not smooth, had some lumpy parts."

"I love this salad and eat it every week when I go in with my mom for lunch. Loving it today as well, but it feels like such a smaller portion for takeout. Maybe it's just an illusion because it's in a big box? Seems like a place like this would be consistent with portion sizes."

"First time ordering here and got the Casal Bertone pinsa. Reminds me of the Pinsa I tried in SF that I was told from a friend was much like the ones he tried from Italy. It was so simply delicious and amazing. Touch of sweetness due to the honey. Perfect. I was expecting a smaller size based on photo but was a good size for 2. Wll definitely order this again! "
"The portions are incredibly small for the price. This is true for every dish we ordered. We spent $160 and when I got the bag and noticed how small it was I started recording a video thinking the dasher had left a second bag behind, but everything was there, just very tiny portions. Great taste though, just really bad value."

"A Symphony of Flavors
Locanda Positano didn't just deliver food, they delivered a culinary sonnet. Succulent Branzino, luxurious lobster ravioli, and the velvety sweetness of Cannolo Siciliano all spoke to the chef's artistry. An unforgettable dining experience, right at home. Bravo, Locanda Positano!"
"The Strozzapeti was delicious but I was a bit disappointed in the serving size compared to the price. The to-go container was filled about halfway.
Similarly with the lobster ravioli, not filled to the top and came with two shrimp. It was good but for the price we wouldnāt jump to order it again.
If you are looking for great pasta for a great price - maybe not the best choice in this economy. If youāre craving pasta, youāll have your craving satisfied. If you're really hungry I recommend adding more protein to both dishes. "

"Fettuccini was very good. Very good flavor. My husband isn't big on pasta, but liked his spaghetti and meatballs. My one problem was that it came with 4 meatballs, which looked large on the menu. But they were smaller than expected. So I would suggest if you have a healthy appetite, order extra meatballs. All in all much better than previous reviews led me expect"
"We were taken aback by the dishes served...
First, the size of the dish is no bigger than your hand.
Second - the bolognese was literally noodles with cubes tomatoes poured ontop with a few crumb sized ground beef.
Price is outrageous for the lack of food and the quality is out of a can. "

"Best pasta ever had
"
"Genuinely the worst pasta I've ever had. The chicken had an odd taste and it looked all discolored, the actual sauce itself tasted store bought and stale, and the pasta was so incredibly soggy it was breaking down within the sauce. I would reccomend not to buy at least *this* specific meal. Worst $23 I've ever spent."

This is our first time ordering here and we were really looking forward to a really good pizza. I won't be ordering from here anymore. For 40 bucks? This could've been Dominos pizza at 10. The service was top tier too. You can immediately tell itās a family run business. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about the quality of the food.
Only downside, no dine in, which is wild because their kitchen is so spotless you could literally eat off of the floor. Thatās how clean and dialed in this place is.
If youāre debating whether to try it, stop thinking and order already. I will definitely be back. ššš„"
"We've ordered from them several times and the food and service is always great. We tried a new pizza this time and we will definitely order it again. They even called us to let us know they accidentally made us a large pizza instead of medium but wouldn't charge me extra.
Recommend friends here and it's their new favorite too"

"The Steak Frites were just about perfect. Had it delivered and they blessed us by packing the steak and fries in SEPARATE containersšš¾šš¾šš¾ Shoestring fries seasoned just enough. The steak was prepared exactly as I ordered. Juicy Lightly seasoned. There was also an herbed beurre blanc. also in its own container. Everything was still warm when we got it. No need to microwave. GREAT JOB CHEF"
"we have been going to and ordering from the hideout forever (even since before they moved). we've always always loved it. I usually always get the kale and pancetta salad. Usually it's a pretty decently sized salad and for $20 i never added additional protein because i always felt it was such a good value. I've noticed it's gotten significantly smaller and my order today was smaller than a side salad. It's really disappointing given how expensive it is and how much it's changed over the past few months. I probably won't order again despite how much i like the salad"

"Itās amazing, just second time and I can confirm itās super rare like rare. But itās fine for me cause I half it and there is enough cutting it into bite size pieces and then the raw I warm up in a pan w smidge butter and itās perfectly med rare to rare and then add it to the half I separated itās yummy and simple so not heavy like steak salads can be. I love the Grilled Steak Salad "
"When my order arrived, I was disappointed that it was cold and the portion was quite small for the price. Once I heated it up and put it in a smaller plate, it looked better. The Roasted Chicken was tender with crispy skin. The root vegetables were mostly potato and the sauce a little salty for my taste. Overall, disappointing. "

"I did not have 100 or over 100 pepperonis. That is false advertisement. HOWEVER!!! I am HAPPY! There were like 52! And had just the right amount of Saltiness to itļæ¼..
So I feel if any more were at it it would've been way too salty just like Mountain Mike's where it's oversaltedļæ¼!
This is why you still get a five star!!
Can't go wrong with breadsticks! So yummy!"

"The pizza was reasonably priced for how huge it was! It was also delicious! The wings were surprisingly good coming from a pizza place. Big and meaty, though milder than i prefer for classic Buffalo sauce."

"Great quality pizza at a reasonable price! I ordered a custom three topping thin crust pizza with wings and was thoroughly impressed. The sauce had a nice flavor and the pizza was not too greasy. Easy to eat and scrumptious! The wings were juicy and well cooked. This was my first time eating here but it certainly won't be my last. I highly recommend for anyone looking for reasonably priced pizza that tastes great!"
"Crust has a great crunch-to-chew ratio. Ingredients are quality, and flavor is great. Will be my new go-to pizza spot for parties, movie nights, or just a regular dinner at home."
