"Colombian's Taste is easily one of my favorite restaurants. I've tried many different options from the menu and enjoyed them all! I have a gluten intolerance, but many of the food is naturally gluten-free, which means I have significantly more options than I do elsewhere.
The packaging is also among the best I've ever seen, especially when I order soups like Ajiaco. The plastic wrap around the containers makes a difference in keeping everything sealed well for travel.
Everything is fresh when delivered, textures are maintained well due to packing, everything tastes incredible, and the food is so filling I usually get more than one meal out of it, which makes the price worth it.
The chicarron is always so well made that I need to order it every time, even when I'm trying to mix things up. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!"

I've seen and tasted all the Mexican restaurants here and I've seen new ones come and some go. Alot of them are good don't get me wrong but out of all of them, this one to me stands out as the one with the best Asada. Tacos Don Javi has delivered nothing but quality when it comes to their food! The Tortas the Burritos and the Tacos are a hit! I have not had a bad experience. The meat, is high quality and roasted over the flame! and cut perfectly, nice and seasoned! The other mexican places in Addison seem to specialize in other areas but to my knowledge they seem have lowbudget meat with a lot of nerve and fat and really oily, if ykyk, and the cut isn't right on their Asada and you can also tell that theirs is not over the flame like Asada should be, and at Tacos Don Javi it is! You can tatse it immediately is just phenomenal! like i said all quality!"

"The Fish and Fries were horrible. The oil used tasted stale the outside coating was dark brown versus light brown. I ended up throwing it away. The fries were awful too. Again, I blame the oil and the cook for not knowing when it needs to be changed.
