The 35. Spicy Tuna Roll (6) is my ride-or-die item from any sushi place, and they do NOT skimp on the tuna. The tuna is always fresh and not at all fishy, and they never seem to sear the edges cuz they're getting sketchy like the other main sushi place in the city sometimes does.
And finally, the 4. Eel Avocado Hand Roll was amazing - the eel is always buttery, melt-in-your-mouth soft, and the eel sauce is so moreish, I could drink it.
Sushi Island remains my go-to sushi place for when I need comfort food, and this did not disappoint. I'll definitely be ordering all of these items again (especially the spicy tuna roll and the eel handroll, I am in love with them)!"
