My Milanese Caesar, however.... was only lettuce and Parmesan crisps... no Brussels Sprouts, no bacon, no bleu cheese. I ordered a steak thinking it would be in place of the chicken... it was not, but the steak and chicken were both excellent. Helpful hint: Don't offer a salad as an entree if it is just a few lettuce leaves, a couple Parmesan crisps, and your protein. For $19, plus the $12 for a steak... I am offended. I have honestly never felt so dissatisfied. We were excited to try a new place, but were just left laughing at the food received. Please do better for take-out.

"My family and I have been eating here for over a decade and let me tell you, we absolutely LOVE this restaurant and every single dish they make! The food is always made fresh to order by the Chefs, and you can taste the love that goes into these dishes. There are many Italian restaurants, but at The Brick Oven the flavors, portion sizes, and consistency of the dishes are the best I have ever encountered. Some of my favorites are the Chicken Piccata, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Pomodoro, Strawberry Salad with Grilled Chicken, and Mediterranean Salad with Grilled Chicken. "The chopped steak was really good and had actually sautéed mushrooms, not just from a can like some places. And the BLT is always good, lots of bacon instead of 2 or 3 slices like most places. I do like the regular strawberry crepe better instead of the strawberry cheesecake crepe though. The regular ones with the cream taste better I think."
"The slice of pumpkin pie was so very SMALL!! I can buy a whole Marie Callender pumpkin pie for the cost of 2 slices that was a miniature size and for a high cost. And they couldn't even be bothered with a tiny bit of whip cream, but that's all it would take to cover the slice. Sad, very sad. I remember coming to this restaurant so many times when the quality of their pies was sooo much better, and the size of a cut slice was bigger and wayyy thicker than the last 8 years or so, and it was before covid so that isn't why it's so expensive for minimum quality anymore. It used to be the place that a lot of groups of women used to go together but stopped due to not so great pie slices. They do a better job when whole pies are bought, but lousy at individual slices, and usually a big mess piled in a delivery container."
