"Maria's is really full of itself. Very average food with mediocre ingredients and prepared on an average level. There's nothing authentically Italian about it. It's the same kind of cuisine as the Olive Garden. The prices at Maria's are ridiculous. That being said I ordered one of their sandwiches the other night because my Italian Market was closed. I wanted a sandwich on focaccia bread if you look at Maria's online menu it says it's on focaccia bread. What's really weird though, is there is a button that says choose Italian roll and they give you no option to turn it off it stays stuck even though the menu description right above that button says served on for katsia bread. The sandwich is almost $20 if you want french fries or chips or a small salad it is over $20. What I received was inexcusably below average. But Slice House just doesn't know how to make *any* of their wide variety of pizza anything less than DELICIOUS. We LOVE your food - but we're so sad you stopped selling pasta! We ate in the restaurant a week and a half ago and everything we ordered was fabulous!! I had the Branzino, my husband ordered the Veal Chop and our friend had the Short Ribs with mashed potatoes. Best lentil soup ever as well. Our dinners were superb! The chocolate lava cake was scrumptious, as were the Italian donuts with custard. We take out often and the Veal Medallions and Polpette Meatballs with peas are just delicious. Eat in service is outstanding and we were surrounded by obviously likewise very satisfied patrons. I can't say enough good things about the food and service at Toscanova. Ciao!!!"

Fabulous Lasagna with authentic thin noodles and light layering, the Tonnarelli Carbonara was incredible an managed to arrive as though it just came out of the pan, not congealed or sticky at all. "I honestly don’t know how this pizza earns the price it does. It arrived cold, bland, and looked like it had been sitting out for hours before being delivered. The box was floppy and partially smashed, which didn’t help the presentation. The toppings were incredibly skimpy. Two slices of pepperoni per slice is just embarrassing for a $35 large pizza. The crust and cheese tasted more like a frozen grocery store pizza that had been thrown in the oven than something made fresh. For the price, I expected a quality pizza loaded with toppings. Instead, I got something that reminded me of a school lunch pizza. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing pizza orders I’ve had, and I won’t be ordering again."
