"The Culichi is okay, isn't half as good as Mariscos Chihuahua. "The fish was really fresh and so far the best I've had in Tucson. Most places in AZ and Tucson struggle to incorporate topping like green onions, yuzu, bonito flakes, and sauces. Flakes knows how to do this well and made the nigiri very tasty. The Hamachi Aburi was insanely good as well as the Hamachi Yuzu Zukuri. Highly recommend trying either!
Service was incredible as well, only one staff member working so it was a little slow but they offered a free drink and edamame with the meal. Service like that is a rarity here and was greatly appreciated. I also ordered take out and every single item was labeled very well and there were even disposable soy sauce dishes which was super nice. Prices are also great, it's consistent with competitors but since the fish is so much better I think you get more than what you pay for.
Ambiance was so-so it is a new place so it's clearly not fully set up yet but the vision is there and it's VERY clean which I appreciate being in a college town. This was also obvious with the fish being very clean tasty and no fishy taste.
I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for some decent quality and fresh sushi here in Tucson. It's still got that college-esque menu but doesn't sacrifice quality for it. Great place, I'd love to see it grow more and gain more business since I'll be coming back for that hamachi a lot!"

"The 2 Meats, 2 Sides, and Steamed Rice was good but was disappointed with receiving the wrong side (pickled cucumbers instead of pickled onion/radish/jalapeno) and even more so that there was NO JAPCHAE at all, which is one of my favorite items in Korean food and something I specifically order when dinning in. It was in the photos, descriptions, and other customer reviews show and state it as coming in a box with rice and japchae but I didn't get that. It was individually packed for each item and missing/had wrong items. The quality of meat was good. Everything did tasted fresh. We really love the potato salad with a little sesame oil and the green tea salt. I tried the honey chicken and Hawaiian steak this time, which I had not order when we have eaten in the restaurant. I would order them again without issue but I think the Hawaiian steak was close enough to any of the other beef options I normally order, so I might be more likely to pick galbi or bulgogi. The honey chicken was a lot like the teriyaki or bourbon type of chicken entrees you can get at any mall food court places like the fast Japanese hibachi ones, Panda Express, or that one Cajun place that seems more like Chinese food than Cajun. That's not a bad thing since the price is pretty decent for to go (assuming you get the whole order with the right sides and such). The Green Tea Salt 2oz was nearly full in the container so that was a great portion and value. The order was nicely packaged but it was sealed when they handed it to me, so I didn't see food was wrong or missing. I'll order again but I would ask to see the order before they staple it closed cause it seems like there are other complaints of random missing items."
