The description didn't mention it so it was my bad for assuming... I just have never encountered a restaurant that served it plain before. I was disappointed in the Cheese Calzone because rather than being fully stuffed, there was a lot of empty space inside. That's when I realized it was missing mozzarella! If I hadn't added any extras, it would have been simply dough with a thin layer of ricotta inside.
