There was A LOT of melted cheese on top which might not be a complaint for some but it was a bit too much for me. The refried beans had no seasoning and the chips were unsalted. Just flavor needed overall. The Empanadas were okay. They were a bright yellow color and seemed to be a cornmeal-ish texture. They were crispy and the filling inside was good. I did it have the sauce that comes with it so I can't comment on that. What irked me about these empanadas was that they came on a bed of wilted lettuce. The bottoms were completely wet and soggy but the rest of them were very crisp and perfect. Just a stupid way to serve them and for no reason because the lettuce isn't something anyone is going to eat. I really wanted dessert and debated what to get. The Chocolate Cake was okay. The cake itself was dry and didn't have much chocolate flavor but the frosting was good. It was edible because of the frosting. "

Salads are some of my standbys (Caesar with chicken YUM). The storefront is incredible with great imported Italian treats, as well as seasonal soups and their wine selection is very discerning. This is a foodie casual upscale place, and well worth every penny. Everyone I introduce it to is like: WOW. I regularly order pizza and bring it out to my relations out East, who are have only generic pizza places around them. BONUS: sandwhiches keep well in the fridge (think picnics/roadtrips) and pizza reheats great. Or eat it cold :)"
