"Ordered the Create Your Own Pizza. Worst money ever spent. Inedible. Crust was burnt. Ordered (for extra charge) mushrooms, spinach, and spicy sausage. Could barely find the spinach, very few mushrooms, and the sausage was little to none. I would not recommend this pizza place to anyone. Will never order again. Did not eat this pizza, threw it away and ordered from a better restaurant."

The crust has that light cornmeal on the bottom so you get a little crunch when you bite into it, but the dough itself is still soft and chewy with just a hint of ferment—you can actually taste that it’s real dough and not something rushed. The cheese melts the way it’s supposed to, smooth and stretchy instead of that weird coagulated mess a lot of places around here serve. It’s basically New York–style pizza but without the greasy overload, and the toppings are legit. I had the chicken, pineapple, and onion and the chicken was ridiculously tender, not dry at all, and everything tasted fresh. Even the chicken fingers are excellent—crispy breading, all white meat, cooked perfectly. On top of that they’ve got a huge menu with tons of other stuff. I’ve tried pizza all over the valley and nothing beats Primo’s 2. Easy five stars."

"We've been going to Athena's for years! I'm an NYC native and pizza snob... Plus I have Celiac. Their pizza isn't technically Celiac-safe because it is made in a shared oven, but their GF crusts are in their own pans, and they are FABULOUS! For me personally it's well worth the activated charcoal to ward off any reaction to cross-contamination. Their regular pizza is also awesome (from what I remember prior to being diagnosed). They are a small, family-owned restaurant that takes pride in being respectful to their customers and making quality food. I don't think they have ever once gotten our order wrong in the 10+ years we've been going here. It's exciting to be able to get them delivered outside of Amherst!"
