"This new place that opened up was absolutely delicious. I was debating on giving it 4 stars because of the House Garlic. I selected to add shrimp, and everything else was perfectly cooked except for the shrimp which was tough. However the overall quality of the food urged me to give it 5 stars. The mushrooms tasted fresh and had a light sear. The cheese was creamy, the noodles were cooked to absolute perfection. The portion size was generous and filling. I also ordered the Chocolate Mousse and Crème Brûlée because I wanted to try out their dessert menu badly and I could hardly decide which one I wanted to try first! The Crème Brûlée came in a glass ramekin that was sealed and had an attached packet of sugar. It was a shame I didn't have a torch, but the custard was smooth and delicious. The fact that I didn't have the means to melt the sugar didn't hinder my experience of enjoying it to the fullest. The mousse was rich and creamy, and very thick. Please do better on the shrimp, tho."

One thing I especially love: their rotating dessert specials. Each time I go, there’s something new, something unexpected, and every single one has been phenomenal. You never know what treat you’ll walk out with—but whatever it is, it’s going to be memorable. On top of all that, the customer service here is next level. Everyone—from the folks greeting you when you walk in to the people bringing your food—makes you feel welcome, cared for, like you matter. It’s not easy to get that balance of fantastic food and warm, attentive service, but Goondocks pulls it off. Bottom line: if you’re in Astoria, this is a must. I’ll be back every chance I get."

"Great KFC location. Quality and food temp at Seaside is terrible compared to Astoria. Never have a problem with Astoria KFC. And they're kind. I like how they figure out that when I order an extra chicken strip for a famous bowl, they figure out that it is for the bowl and cut it up. If I order it at another KFC I get handed whole chicken strips."
