Chilaquiles with steak. Steak was very good, salsa verde was very flavorful, no where near as spicy as I'd hope but still tasty. Chilaquiles are meant to be crunchy even when after drenched in salsa by a reasonable margin, I'm not sure why, but they were more soggy than I expected even from a delivery take out. The huarache base was made by hand as described, they did unfortunately skimped out on the quantity of pastor on it, but not by a lot. Maybe it's their style here? Could use a bit of balancing, does not feel like much of an in house seasoning (pastor), but I could be wrong. I still ate all of it. No food should be wasted. Horchata and Jamaica water (at least this batch) were very well balanced not overly sweet that gives that weird aftertaste. This review is done by a Mexican who was actually born and raised there, I'm a modest food connoisseur & critic as well. (Just not profoundly professional) To all who read this, thank you -Victor A. Sometimes they're out of everything. This store does not offer substitutions, so you don't even realize that you're not getting what you ordered until it doesn't show up. For example, my order today was for a Chocolate Cream Donut, 2 Chocolate Croissant,2 Caramel Apple Pie, and Fudge Brownie. I received two caramel apple pies and the fudge brownie, but no donut and no croissants and no explanation as to why. I understand that they don't owe me an explanation. It would be nice if there was a way that they could let the customer know that half their order was going to be missing.
