"We've been wanting to try the food here since they opened south on I-10 on Cotton. I had Angry Mac and hubby had Hangry Fix. Angry Mac was terrific. I ordered Mild to be on the safe side. I like spicy but my gut doesn't! Chicken was way better than D A V E's. The spice isn't caked on like theirs. The chicken was great. Mac way almost too creamy but mixed w chicken was fine. The fried in the dish are powder spiced. It was a good mix. Too bad you can build Your Own Bowl. I would have chosen slaw over fries personally.
Hubby's Hangry Fix, he liked it but said the rice was 'meh' however it was moist. He ordered the Medium heat and said it was great. He also added he wouldn't have wanted a higher level of spice because it would detract from the overall flavor.
We only ate half our portions. Lots of food!

Before it was called something more like Bourbon Chicken. They were always large pieces of a half roasted chicken. Everything eas usually very juicy and the skin was so delicious. Now this terrible meal was a very dry teeny, tiny baby chick that they use for small wings and thighs. the breast was so crazy small! It was not a meal. It was for a toddler.
