Absolutely perfect balance of flavors and my taste buds have relished each and everything I ordered - Vegetarian Daily Special (Veg Kofta and Rajma) were awesome and it was nice to have Homely Tawa Roti Side. Mix Vegetable Pakoras were fabulous, although I fell short of the chutney and a slice of onions could have made the meal complete, however no complains and full marks from my side. "The Chicken tikka masala ( Halal) was saucy and a solid execution of the dish. Garlic naan was a great texture and nice size without being overpowering in garlic flavor. The Palak Paneer was heavy on cardamom flavor with too many cardamom pods in the chewing. The actual cheese cubes were small in size but plentiful, making up for the flavor balance that wasn't my favorite, but also not too bad. Overall a decent meal with what are standard Indian takeout portion sizes. "

"Wow! We've had some pretty subpar Indian on Door Dash and this is by far the best Indian food I've had in a long time! I called to ask if they could make the Aloo Gobi extra spicy and it was perfect. The Samosa Chaat was a perfect blend of spicy and sweet and the Chicken Tikka Masala was everything you'd want it to be.

"I Thought I ordered the butter chicken rice bowl but I got chickpea salad bowl! It was insanely flavorful! Strong delicious flavors. Bowl made 2 meals though it coulda shoulda been 3 or 4 days meals. I had to lick the container clean at the end. The samosa was really good and came w 2 dipping sauces. One sweet and spicy, one savory green & spicy. If you like spice and want to eat more chickpeas, order this. Guess I still have to try the Butter Chicken and another Samosa."

"This is the best Indian food in the East Bay since 1996, was ranked #9 Indian restaurant in the US a few years ago. Lines used to wrap around the corner in the 90s & 00s until the financial depression. Forget the Americanized trendy junk full of cream and oil, this place is authentic Indian."

The rest of the food is not worth the price.... you get a measly portion of the main along with a small portion of daal and a huge portion of plain rice and and some plain salad leaves. Rogan Josh meatballs only 2 medium sized HARD as rocks meatballs - NOT worth the price. Waste of money can't eat them. The biryani arrived with the yogurt spilled over half the biryani....it looks like the yogurt has spoiled and tasted sour. Had to eat around the rice that was doused in yogurt.
Their food is usually good the problem is mostly the packaging and maybe a bad day with the meatballs. Please improve your packaging and portion sizes."

Big variability in content of portions in terms of the amount of meat in curries, biryani's. Sometimes it's reasonable, but other times there's been lots of curry sauce, but few solid ingredients; lamb biriyani has been plenty of rice, but quite skimpy on lamb (and it's tougher than it used to be--possible cheaper cut). Would love to see them regain their old high quality."
