"I don't usually leave reviews to businesses, but I just had to for Oishi Sushi. I can see why this sushi spot has a lot of great reviews. All of their ingredients are so fresh and high quality. We started off with the side salads and Miso Sea Bass app. Their house ginger dressing is so good. Not too overpowering and very refreshing. The lettuce and other mixed greens were so fresh and crispy! We were really impressed because that's just the side salad. The sea bass app seemed a bit small for $12 but the flavor and texture was just so exquisite. It also came with chopped up asparagus and they were really crunchy and juicy with the sea bass sauce imbedded into them. The appetizer was for sure appetizing. For the main entree, we got the Sushi Sashimi for two. 1. Their sashimi cuts are crazy generous. 2. Their fish is SO fresh. It as if they just caught a live one and prepared it, no cap. 3. Their sushi rice??? Indestructible (what I mean by this is like you know, did you ever have a sushi break apart when you pick it up with your chopsticks? Well that didn't happen with this restaurant. Hats off to the master sushi chef who prepared our dinner because we were really blown away by the rice.) the rice was also very well seasoned and had the perfect ratio to the fish on top. 4. My all time favorite fish is Salmon but their Yellowtail literally blew me away. The way it just melts in your mouth ughh so good lol. Lastly, the we ordered the lobster bisque. It doesn't look that good in the picture and in person, but it tasted heavenly. It didn't have that fishy smell (like under the sea type smell) or taste so it was nice. It was so comforting and filling! All in all, we had an amazing dinner thanks to Oishi Sushi! Sorry for the long wall of text, but if you made it this far- I hope this review helps you out to make a decision to order from this place! :)"

I'd maybe order again to give another chance if the price wasnt as high as it is in these trying times, but there's places with better quality sushi for about 2/3rds the cost. The Kano salad was also so full of tempura flakes as filler that it took on a wet breadcrumb texture. Unfortunately the only good item was the yellowtail. It was fresh and flavorful. Ultimately I'd pass on this spot though."
