The Loco Moco gravy always tastes like it was made with nothing but 15lbs of black pepper and black pepper only. There is SO MUCH black pepper in this gravy that I can see the black pepper all over the gravy, the eggs, the rice, and the hamburger patty! Absolutely nothing needs THAT much pepper, and if it does then you're making it WRONG! The macaroni salad (which is honestly my favorite side at L&L) is missing the tuna and is completely flavorless at this location. The worst part: my DoorDash orders always default to this location! So I either have to choose a different Hawaiian Bbq Restaurant, or wait until this location closes for the night and order my dinner way later than I want to eat to get L&L from a location that actually knows how to make its franchise recipes."
