The city location always has a line miles long even on warm days, and I was SO HAPPY when this location opened in the eastern suburbs. The classic stir fried beef is unbeatable, I have the chicken pho when I'm unwell, the beef ribs pho is tender and falling off the bone and so DECADENT. I can't say enough good things. "Good but not Northern style pho. The noodle is fresh, translucent, smooth on the mouth feel and quick to absorb the flavor. The broth is mucky, complex and tad heavy smokey. The chicken was soft and juicy, the beef brisket was on point, the raw beef was soft and easy to be cooked. All the elements are there but was let down by the broth to be so so good and excellent. The shop named after a northern style pho in Hanoi and yet receiving a southern style pho. Not much differences to other phos in Melbourne.
