"I've always had mixed opinions about Applebee's since they opened. I like the variety of food options so l keep giving them "another chance". This is probably the last time. We ordered to go with delivery by Doordash this time because it's usually so chaotic inside the restaurant and although the staff is mostly pleasant there have been some that are downright rude. Tonight l opted to not chance it and just eat in peace at home. My husband ordered the baby back ribs and he always is happy with that much food. It was cooked well and he is a happy guy. I ordered the Southwest Chicken Bowl. It has changed over the years and one of the changes that l noticed is they throw cilantro on it so when ordering, l was very clear to have NO CILANTRO because l am allergic to it. l double checked my order before l placed the order. l then triple checked it after it sent. Sure enough it was correct. When the order arrived, right there on the receipt it showed everything correct. l opened my "bowl" and melted from steam, all over my salad was cilantro. l ended up throwing out nearly every piece of chicken from my salad. l had 3 small little pieces of chicken left for my salad and after picking it the welted lettuce, the value of my meal reduce significantly. I suppose eating in restaurant would have slowed me to ask a server to have them make it again but it also would have made my meal come out much later than my husband and that's not appealing to me either."

Over cooked, dark brown chicken. Steamed broccoli laying on top of a quarter size serving of hash browns that sighed them out w/broccoli juice. Normally these things are kept separate. Denny's gets a + for adding napkins and utensils but the careless package handling ruined them from sauce spillage. I don't foresee these mishaps continuing and will give another chance. If not. Mongolian Chicken was on point with flavor but not spicy as advertised.Pan Fried Noodle W/ Oyster sauce are basic and have a good flavor. They are not fancy and a perfect compliment to richer foods or broths.Special Chow Mein is always consistent and packed full of flavor; tender chicken pieces, shrimp and BBQ pork. We paid for extra hot mustard. What we got was a thumbnail sized souffle cup that was half filled. Maybe save your $ for that one. They do not automatically supply ketchup, seeds and hot mustard for the BBQ pork like other establishments do. This meal today was a good value for the $."
