"I placed an Easter Sunday breakfast pickup order from the Safeway deli through DoorDash. My family members, who were already on their way to visit, stopped to pick it up for us. My elderly, handicapped parents went inside with the DoorDash receipt and the screen that says “show this to staff,” confirming the order had already been paid for. The deli staff refused to release the order for more than 10 minutes, incorrectly insisting that a Dasher would be arriving later and that giving the order to my parents would violate their rules. I got on the phone directly with the staff and explained multiple times that this was a customer pickup order, not a delivery order, but they remained rude and continued repeating the same incorrect explanation. They also attempted to charge my parents a second time in store for an order that had already been paid for through DoorDash. The interaction became even more upsetting when the manager came over, rolled their eyes several times during the conversation, and my elderly parents left the store extremely stressed. On top of the pickup issue, the food quality was also poor. The breakfast burritos contained barely any egg and were mostly tortilla, to the point that I had to cook additional eggs at home so my family could eat breakfast. I would like this issue documented as both a merchant training problem on DoorDash pickup procedures and a food quality issue, and I would appreciate an appropriate refund or credit."

"Portion kinda small but really good"

"Ngon Noodle House is a Vietnamese restaurant that we unfortunately found to be quite lackluster in terms of overall quality. We ordered through DoorDash and were disappointed with the results. Our Spicy Curry with Noodle Soup was full of onions and extra tofu, despite us asking for vegetables only and no onion or tofu. The base soup was sweet and had a hint of sour which was good for the curry, but there were not enough vegetables included which was very disappointing. To try to make it better, we had to repurpose the curry soup and add our own vegetables. We also ordered Grilled Slices of Lemongrass Chicken for the kids which arrived burnt, so our daughter didn't even give it a chance. The Combo Beef Noodle wasn't great either as the broth wasn't as clear as we would have liked; it was a bit dark tasting. The best item that we ordered from here was their Vietnamese Hot Coffee - the only saving grace of this meal! Overall, we wouldn't recommend Ngon Noodle House as it just wasn't anything special. The food wasn't particularly flavorful or enjoyable, and there were issues with some of our orders being incorrect even after specifying what we wanted on them. Furthermore, some items (such as the lemongrass chicken) weren't prepared well at all. If you're looking for Vietnamese cuisine in this area, there are definitely better places to try first!"
