"When the udon soup mentions vegetables there is nothing but a couple slivers of white onion and some green onions. Everywhere else comes with at least some broccoli and carrots. Broth did not have the regular Japanese udon flavour it tasted like chemicals. By far the worst udon I have ever had. The vegetable sunomono is minuscule compared to other restaurants for the same price. I have an allergy to tuna and asked for the house roll no tuna, it still came with tuna so be careful if ordering with any allergies as they do not take your allergy into consideration. "

"I ordered the teriyaki salmon bento box along with the gyoza. The gyoza wasn’t too bad, but unfortunately the salmon bento box was horrible. The salmon was severely overcooked—the top of the fish was so dry and tough it was very hard to chew. The tempura that came with it was soggy, and the California roll had no flavour at all. The rice was also very soggy. Overall, I would not recommend the salmon bento box. I'm not sure I would recommend this place as a go to place to have Japanese cuisine."

"The Premium Futomaki is very disappointing for the price. It was all little pieces of fish (it almost looked like end pieces and not at all like the photo provided when ordering). It also wasn't as fresh tasting as the other two items we ordered. The Sunomono is always a favourite and is always made well and so fresh.
