I was greeted warmly by the owner, the mouthwatering fragrance of authentic cooking, and Ethiopian music playing in the background. I knew that the food would be delicious as soon as I walked past the first table. The tibs and kikil were served with the best injera I have experienced—it was so light and cushiony and was the perfect vessel for the chicken and lamb (although I also enjoyed the injera by itself). I thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful tibs, served with delicious chickpeas. My sambusa was crispy and savory, and I wish I had ordered another (note: they are on the greasy side).
