"It's tasty and consistent. The Shrimp Basket was great, although the fries weren't what I expected but that's compared to the shrimp and fish. Neither of which was overcooked, they were spot on in taste and texture. That's a tall order for takeout or delivery. The Boom Boom Shrimp has just the right balance of sweet and heat. The tartar sauce was unique and did not seem prepackaged/store-bought, at least in flavor and texture. The cocktail sauce is ideal for its purpose as a compliment to the shrimp and fish. The shrimp were properly cleaned which some places don't give the same attention to when deep fried. This is a sign of overall quality in a kitchen, and it's evident that pride and integrity are on the menu. "
"This restaurant is one of our favorites here. The food is consistently delicious and the portions are plentiful. We got both blackened shrimp and cajun shrimp. They're both flavorful and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The cajun version has a good bit of heat, so if you don't love spice, go with the blackened. It's worth the upgrade to Gulf shrimp too. We got the grilled platter with shrimp and flounder. Again, both were perfectly cooked. The red beans and rice were savory and loaded with sausage. Lastly, they included plenty of cocktail sauce and tartar sauce, and even remembered utensils."

"I was so diappointed that I paid over $20 for this cup of rice. It came in a pint size container full to the top with rice and the bread placed on top not separate. There was a few shrimp on the bottom. No roux or liquid you would expect from gumbo.
This is NOT GUMBO. It's rice with a little shrimp thrown in the bottom.
