"No idea how they get 4.7 stars; the one star review began with how they packaged the food; the small container was on the bottom with the larger container on top. As a result, the large container tipped over causing the oil/grease (I won't say juice, because that was not it) to leak over the bag. The driver made a point to bring this to my attention and called doordash to report it himself. We thought, okay, mistakes happens, but maybe the food will be good. Now, I was surprised as to why there was any oil/grease in the bag since I ordered Tandoori and my husband the Chicken Seekh Kabab, and whenever we've ordered these items at other Indian restaurants or middle eastern restaurants (Kebab), none were in a sauce. Also, the pictures from this store, did not show either covered in a sauce. Well, the Kebab does NOT look anything like the picture, it actually looks more like a stew; and if the Tandoori was grilled, I expect it was grilled a few days ago, and then left to simmer in a stew to soften in up. Both were greasy and oil and inedible. Now to the Garlic Naan - how could an Indian restaurant mess that up you ask? Well they did. That too was brushed with oil! It had parchment paper under the Naan and the wrapped in foil and was not touched by the oil, so that oil did not somehow make its way in. The only thing that was not oily was the rice. So with tip more than $60 for a small container of rice. "

"This is now my go to thai food restaurant in camarillo. The food is delicious and the portions are fantastic for the price. Highly recommend!!"
"I’ve been a loyal customer of Rice by Mama for some time, but unfortunately, the consistency and quality have noticeably declined over time. One of my go-to dishes, the Pad Thai, used to be flavorful and generous in portion — especially with the chicken. Lately, I’ve noticed significantly less chicken included with each order, making it feel more like a side than a main dish.
Additionally, I’ve repeatedly requested a specific spice level, and more often than not, it’s either far too mild or unexpectedly spicy — completely inconsistent with what I asked for. It’s disappointing when a dish arrives and it’s not prepared to your preference, especially when you’ve made it clear.
I really hope the restaurant takes this feedback to heart and brings back the quality and attention to detail that once made it a favorite.

"This was our first time eating the food here, or any vegan restaurant. I didn't tell my meat-eating husband I was ordering food from a vegan place because I wanted his honest opinion of the food without judgment. The verdict...Well, let's just say you converted my meat eating husband to your vegan orange chicken. He commented that he prefers it over other local Chinese restaurants' orange chicken. Wow! Batter was so light and crispy. Yellow Curry was also flavorful and delish; fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce... yum! in fact everything we ate was so tasty! To our pleasant surprise, if this is vegan food, we've been missing out! We had a lot of food, but I don't feel gross after eating a filling meal like I usually would. The food was such a refreshing change. Exceeded my expectations. Definitely eating here again!! Two thumbs way up! "
"Fresh Rolls were simple and tasty. I tasted a little basil in them, which I love. I would love a little mint as well. If I were making these, I would marinate and grill the tofu to give it better texture and some flavor. Kind of like tofu satay style! It would be fun if they had different variations of these.
