This carnivore did not miss having meat because this dish was prepared with a great emphasis on textural variety. The sauce was well balanced. The spices were the perfect choir singing in unison. Sometimes a sauce can have the lead singer be out of tune...nothing but harmony here. Last but not least were the various assortments of bread. We could wax on poetically about the delicate freshness, how they retained crispness even until this morning's breakfast, or how the accompanying chutneys and sauces were tasty, and refreshingly light.
