My husband and I eat there and get carry-out regularly, and I cannot ever remember having had anything not well and carefully prepared, and enjoying every food item we've tried. I'm a huge fan of their curries as well as the sushi (especially the iko salad and tuna -- in every form!). Tonight I went with appetizers, and the tiger prawn spring rolls are always flavorful , even the tails are delicious, and I eat them too! I do need to remember that I do not care for their particular boba tea--I'm just not a fan of Thai iced tea. I find the flavor cloyingly sweet and do not care for whatever spices are in the tea. I keep forgetting and order it again, only to remember as soon as I take a sip...talk about feeling dopey! That's just a matter of personal preference, though and nothing at all to do with the restaurant, its consistently good food and truly kind, welcoming owners and staff."

I like to use the Cheese Dip all over my food. of course, I wasn't given any napkins or silverware to eat with. overall I felt that a 5 star rating was worth it."

I even remembered to take a pic before I ate it and destroyed the beautiful presentation. The Korean sizzling steak is wonderfully flavorful and wonderfully tender. I used it as a side dish, no rice, and managed to nibble at it for three meals. It remained tender, and got even more flavorful as the beef marinated... I am sure the chef cringes at my use of this terrific dish for three meals, but the sauce makes a terrific marinade! The steamed dumplings were very good(probably the most generous serving of the ground pork filling I've ever had in a dumpling). The serving of six might lead one to think that these would be small...they are good-sized and with soup or a salad would easily make a satisfying meal for me. I am not a heavy eater, and I know that would be on the small side for my husband. I mention this anyway for the sake of those like me who prefer to err on the lighter side! All in all, I have a new favorite restaurant to add to my favorite Thai restaurant. Basil seems to have good exemplars from a number of Asian cuisines. (And we are working at trying them all!)"

One thing that I'd like to recommend is break up the bags with the food. When we get our orders we order for 4 so there's a lot plus we usually get the funnel fries for all. They jam everything in one bag and everything is smushed by the time we get. When there's that much maybe just separate a little and give 2 bags if needed. Other than that Mr. Hero is one of our best. Then subway is a 2nd, Penn station usually messes up and they take sooooo long like over an hr. Hope this helped someone "
