As garlic noodles are traditionally a Vietnamese dish, but this was simply linguine with Garlic Noodles had way too much butter. however, they were still delicious and I ate every last drop after draining off some of the butter. The boiled potatoes I ordered were simply butter. Boiled Potatoes (3). I did eat all of them although it wasn't three potatoes. I only received two potatoes cut in half. I did have to again not only drain the butter, but after being in the fridge and eating the rest of them and the noodles the second day I had to use so many paper towels to scrape the butter off both the noodles and the Boiled Potatoes (3). I know this is sounding like a complaint, but after I did what I did to remove the literal full stick of butter on the potatoes and perhaps half a stick of butter on the noodles, the food was really fantastic. I will certainly buy again. I think part of the problem with the butter coagulating is because the driver was incredibly late and I had a double dash order. The Dasher went to Cardenas's market, which is a block from me before they went to the backyard Bayou. It makes no sense they should have gone and grabbed the backyard bayou because they had to pass my house to go to backyard bayou and have they gone there first and then to Cardenas's market, I don't think the butter would've been such an issue, but they did the reverse. So by the time I got the backyard Bayou order it was already cold. That is not the restaurant fault at all. It is the Dasher's fault. Backyard by you was so good. I think I'm going to order from backyard bayou again and not do a double dash so I won't have the butter issue. "

Their salmon isn't dry like other places and it's moist without adding an extra flavor so it tastes the same just has better texture. I never thought that mattered to me til now. Plus it helps that this is so far the cheapest on DoorDash for salmon nigiri. The pair costs $6.95, still hurts the wallet but I can order more here than from other restaurants that deliver sushi/nigiri. Omg also their packaging is super cute!"

"This place is usually good. Overpriced but good. Whoever the chef was today should be fired. 5 pieces of burnt asparagus for $14. The spinach was awful and the chicken was also burnt and much smaller than usual. Finally the $14 bowl of clam chowder wouldn't have filled a tiny teacup. For the prices they charge this is ridiculous."

This time around I ordered the Catfish & Prawns and the Prawns stole the show as they were a decent size, and perfectly seasoned, breaded and fried! The Catfish was better seasoned than my last order, hence packed more flavor. I would order again as this was excellent value."
