"I've been ordering the same things from Taco Bell for like, decades now give or take the occasional curiosity I get when they have something new that sounds good. "If you want good italian food this is where you go. My wife and I splurge on them a few times a year for anniversaries, the Lasagna di Carne is amazing and a great portion size, we also get the Pollo alla parmagiana a lot and honestly the only time I've ever had better is my mom's. Their pastas always taste fresh and their sauces have depth. The dessert options are absolutely stacked. the Triple Chocolate Mousse and Torta di Cioccolato are amazing. Yes they are a bit pricey, but I've never been left hungry by them and it's so freakin good."
"The Ginger Beer and Apple Juice were subpar and tasted flat/watered down, but the raspberry Italian Soda was phenomenal! The Tortollini alla Panna was delicious and we ordered it without the prosciutto. We also loved the Fettuccine Pesto, which my 3 year old picked out and she ate so much of it (she is normally a picky eater). My husband said the Ravi di Spinacioli was okay, but not as flavorful as the other pastas we ordered, however, my 1 year old son really enjoyed them. We love this Italian spot and will be ordering from here again soon!"

I have eaten at this restaurant (other locations) and was always satisfied. But I was a little apprehensive to use delivery after reading some of their more recent Door Dash reviews. However, this turned out to be the best meal I received via Door Dash from any of the many food vendors I have used so far.
Everything was packaged well and sealed,
which kept the contents from getting all mixed together.

"The Crab Cake Benedict was same as usual...but the Sirloin Steak and 3 Eggs came out over cooked and rubbery. We specifically ordered the steak as rare knowing it would still cook in the to go box. What we received was a well done, dried, small, and rubbery steak. The restaurant was able to replace the plate for us...which I am thankful...though it was a hassle to go back. But I expected better quality control especially if we had to pay over $20 for this dish."

"This really hit the spot today. Everything was warm, well seasoned, even the calamari was still crispy and warm. Moist Bourbon Glazed King Salmon, and sweet White Chocolate Bread Pudding still warm with all the fixings. So glad I treated myself tonight!"
"1) Kids Fish and Chips - inedible. Arrived literally swimming in a pool of grease. French fries were limp, pale and extremely undercooked. Did not receive any sides, as described. Did not receive brownie. Would have received better fruit from a Motel 6 continenti breakfast.
2) Braised Short Ribs - meat was confusingly dry throughout, with what appeared to be a turkey gravy - definitely not the promised red wine sauce and definitely not an appropriate amount. Meat was flavorless, although the (wrong) sauce was tasty. Carrots had a nice bite, but once again: zero seasoning. Everything lacked the juicy depth of flavor normally associated with this dish. I'm going to pick out the choice bites and turn the rest into a soup. Mashed potato side was delicious and extremely generous portion - far more potatoes than meat in this dish.
3) Garlic Mashed Potatoes - I'm saving these for later, but for $9, you're getting a scoop that looks to be about 6-8 oz. Tasty, but that's very expensive!
I spent almost a day's wages treating myself and got slightly more than 1 meal's worth of mediocre food... I would consider Lake Chalet to be a huge waste of money. Maybe the charm lies in eating at the actual restaurant...?"
