"The Dasher messaged me to say they were out of the two things I ordered: the Original Chicken Sandwich and the BBQ Bacon Whopper Jr. He said they didn't have any beef. So they subbed the chicken sandwich with a crispy chicken sandwich. It was just slightly over room temperature and tasted awful. The falvor was really odd, although I don't often get BK, so I'm not sure if that's normal. It was not crispy. The previously crispy coating was soft and sliding off the chicken. The burger that came was beef, so I dont really know what the "no beef" was about. But my husband said it was cold. Not even warm-ish, just concerningly cold. I also ordered a Hershey's Pie and it had been bagged with the warm stuff, so it was pretty warm (oddly, because nothing else was warm). Warmer than my husband's burger. Grossly warm. So it was all a real waste of money. "

"Applebees is one of my favorites for DoorDash appetizer/dessert delivery. This time I was one of "those customers," by ordering in the last hour they were accepting DD orders. I try to avoid doing this, as I feel it's a bit rude, and many merchants are likely to be running low/out of certain things. While I wouldn't write a review for issues associated w/ my late order, I feel reviewing my excellent service, in this case is warranted and well-deserved. The cake was incredibly moist and still warm upon delivery. I ordered extra hot fudge and ice-cream, and they gave me enough ice-cream to have a good amount w/ each bite...and still have some left to go w/ my extra hot fudge! I received 3 side cups of hot fudge. There were also 5 cherries in my Triple Cherry Shirley. c: Thank you to the Thursday closing crew at Applebees!
