"Wow, delicious food! The Egg Salad Croissant had the best croissant I think I'v ever tasted. I've heard online French foodies describing the perfect croissant -- soft/fluffy centre with the most delicately crispy outside... Owl's is exactly that. The egg salad was a generous portion and it tasted fresh. The breakfast panini was just as delicious and the fruit sides were a nice touch (as you can see from the photos). Both sandwiches were on the larger side of what's typical for coffee shop/Cafe portions."

"I had a craving for steak and the Sirloin (7oz) definitely delivered - it was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly (even after a quick reheat). The mashed potatoes were creamy and the broccolini were nice and crisp. Next time I'll know to ask for no parmesan on the broccolini, as it was a bit overpowering. The garlic mushrooms were a perfect addition. The portion size was great and I'll definitely order this again! Just waiting for the Rocky Mountain Madness to firm up a bit in the freezer as it got a little warm in the same bag on the trip here. Looks yummy though!"

Chicken Tikka was fresh, smoky, and the marinade absolutely delicious. Garlic Naan perfect and well packaged to retain the heat and moisture. 100% will return. I have my favourite spots in Vancouver like Sula and Hariyali but this was a unexpected highlight especially in a small town like Ladysmith. Curious to try more of their menu next time! I wish I took pictures to share but everything was dug into already by the time that thought crossed my mind. Very much recommend this spot!"

"Was so good ate every last bite. the spring rolls are the best I've had between ladysmith and chemainus. The chicken came on a skewer and literally fell off it, cooked perfectly. I ended up pouring the remainder of the dipping sauce ( which is delectable!!) over the vermicelli rice noodles, bean sprouts and the few veggies. I had to mix them up and tear off the cilantro to add instead of how it was placed as a garnish. Too many sprouts, not enough noodles or carrots. That's my only complaint, they give you all the components of a delicious noodle salad, but it comes deconstructed. The giant sprig of cilantro was appreciated, although would have been better without 3 inch stems, and incorporated into the remainder of the meal. I cannot stress enough how amazing these spring rolls are!!!"
