"The Longanisa and Tocino Combo is my favorite go-to! Generous portions, delicious, and heats up so well as leftovers over an extra Side Garlic Fried Rice. Uncle Mike's is goat. :) "
"I ordered the Tocino breakfast since I forgot to eat this morning and it was the best decision I could have made! The eggs were cooked perfectly and the tocino was delicious. The grits and Lugaw were seasoned so well I could cry, the little lemon in the lugaw was a nice touch. I also had a side of rice chocolate pudding that was also amazing!!! The large portion size really took me off guard it's truly worth the price!!!"

"got the tacos al Taco Al Pastor / Seasoned Pork taco dinner. flavor was fine, price was good, portions were great. fresh cilantro and onions, but overall a fine taco."
"Tacos themselves were fine, chicken was well seasoned but didn't get any cilantro or onion. The Quesadilla Gigante / Giant Quesadilla was truly god awful. Store-bought quality tortilla and virtually no cheese on it. Tasted bland, stale, and it was very small for the price. Would not order again, looks nothing like the photo"

"That was one of, if not the best Gryo I have ever had. It had a lot of thick strips and chunks of very well cooked Gryo meat. I spent that extra $1.99 for extra meat and hell yeah for $1.99 it was definitely worth it and I'm definitely going to be ordering from here again. Give it a try, trust me you won't be disappointed."
"For what was received it taste good but the portions is a fraction of what is shown/expected. Miss the taste of home but if I'm spending over $20+ on a meal I'd expect more a few pieces of dawali and a tiny piece of zucchini. Needs a little more middle eastern flavoring. Not like moms but until another restaurant opens with authentic food- it'll do."

"The "boneless bangus paksiw" (fish stew) that I got in my combo was definitely not boneless, so avoid that if fish bones are a problem for you. That said, the taste was on point! Not too weak, not too strong, but just right. I enjoyed it very much; it just shouldn't have "boneless" in the name. And the portion was generous - I ordered a Combination Plate with the chicken inasal and that fish stew, and I got close to a half chicken and (it looked like) most of the fish other than the head and collar. So that combo plate is an excellent value for the money. I agree with the reviewer who said the garlic rice could use more garlic, but overall this combo plate was a good time, and I made two meals out of it.
The Suman Sa Lihiya could easily be split between either two or four people. Definitely too much for one person to eat in one sitting. It comes with toppings/dippers of a brown sugar based sauce and some shredded coconut. This seemed to be the most "basic" flavor of suman from what I could tell, and I liked it, so I'll be trying other flavors.
The Lumpia Sariwa pictured here was fresh and seemed well executed. It turned out not to be a wow for me, but I could tell it was a matter of "I don't particularly care about this dish" rather than anything wrong.
Overall, as you can see there were some minor imperfections, but overall it was very worth it, and I will be trying more dishes here. This was my first time trying Filipino food, and I'm glad I picked this place. "
"
First things first, the crunchy pork belly was a game-changer. The moment I took a bite, I was greeted with a satisfying crunch that gave way to tender and succulent meat. The flavor was out of this world, with a perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet notes. Each piece was expertly cooked and seasoned to perfection. It was like a party in my mouth!
Now, let's talk about the tocino sweet pork. This dish was a delightful explosion of flavors. The pork was incredibly tender and had a beautiful caramelized glaze that added a touch of sweetness. The combination of the savory meat, the sticky glaze, and the fluffy rice was pure magic. And let's not forget the perfectly cooked eggs on top, adding a creamy richness to the dish.
The pork belly was beautifully arranged with a garnish of fresh herbs, while the tocino sweet pork was served with a side of sunny side eggs and fresh tomatoes that added a tangy contrast to the sweetness of the meat.
I can't recommend Imas Kitchen enough. If you're a fan of crispy, flavorful pork belly and mouthwatering tocino sweet pork, this is the place for you. It's a culinary adventure that will leave you craving for more."

"Really solid Nigerian food. The whipped okra soup was flavorful with fresh fish and good spice level. The dark fufu was smooth, sticky, and not too sour — perfect texture. Portions were generous and the food tasted authentic and homemade. Definitely one of the better African food spots I’ve tried on the road."
"This was my first time trying whipped okra stew. I must say I'm absolutely hooked!! My daughter and I found out about Nigerian Kitchen two years ago while walking through the Uptown area. My daughter tried the egusi and I had the goat pepper soup as well as their pounded yam. We knew then, that we would be "Forever customers". They are consistent in proportion, attention to detail and service. I enjoy the authentic flavor and the love put in every dish!! I thank you for talking with me about my order and making sure it was so delectable!! I ordered fish and goat with my whipped okra. The goat was tender and the fish was cooked just right. This dish has a slight kick, (I love heat) but it goes great with the pounded yam.. Chef's Kiss!! I will be back at the end of the week!!"

"This was my first try with african cuisine, and Im so glad I picked this place. The Spinach & Egusi Stew was special with lots of flavor. I ordered with chicken, I received two large drumsticks, they were juicy, fried (not breaded) and it added such a nice crisp and char to the dish. Also a good amount of spice! but it wasnt too much spice for me and im usually a mild spice person. Would reccommend to anyone curious about egusi"

"The Puff Puffs are perfect everytime! We love the Jollof Rice, Fried Rice and Goat Meat - the meat is prepared so cleanly and all the food is so high quality. The Meat Pie & fish rolls taste just like they should! "
"Jollof rice was soft and soggy, Goat meat was hard, overcooked and bland, chicken was bland with NO seasoning whatsoever. Out of everything the plantain might have been the worst. "I'm Filipino and don't cook often. My parents live in a different state so I don't get a chance to eat home cooked meals too often. With that said, when I need comfort food, this is my go to place. It's sooooooo good. The portions (I get the combo platter) are great for the price, and it tastes as close as it can get to home cooking. I want to try other dishes but currently rotating between the lechon kawali (still fresh and crispy by time it gets here), pork adobo, tortang talong, and the caldereta! Also can't forget the pork lumpia Shanghai. I order from here all the time! Highly highly recommend."

"The Vegetable Samosa were huge and also the spiciest samosa I've ever had. Great flavor but if you are spice-averse be warned. The Mutter Paneer was good, large cubes of paneer. "The Combo #4 Vegetarian was delicious, however I overpaid considering that 85% of this dish was rice. There were barely any vegetables... The Peerakai Bolani perhaps didn't travel well as it arrived to me absolutely soggy with grease, but then again all of the food was excessively oily. It also seems I overpaid for this, as they were hardly filled. I had a late order, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. Great flavors, poor execution. Better luck next time?"

"Top-tier Chungking Noodles with Shredded Chicken / 鸡丝小面 with excellent soup. The Braised Pork Belly Rice Bowl / 川味卤肉饭 is tasty and has great portion, too!"
"The teeny-tiny gumball sized Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings had almost zero flavor. Not worth the money. The Beef Rice Noodles had hardly any meat in it at all, but the few bits of beef that were in there was tasty. The sauce the rice noodles were tossed in was somehow both bland and odd tasting. Sticking to my usual spots from now on."

"Me gustan mucho las empanadas, sin embargo recomiendo variedad de salsa al empaque. Ya que solo empacaron verde y solo una rosada para 8 empanadas. Que sea mitad y mitad"
"The Chicharrón is extremely over priced for what you get back. Should be no more than $5, it is not a high quality piece of meat. It's very thin and rubbery. I would not order again.
The Arroz con Pollo is a nice size but lacks flavor and its very dry. Not close to a traditional Colombian arroz con pollo.
As a Colombian it was disappointing and underwhelming. "

"ALWAYS EXCELLENT. ALWAYS."
"Nile of Hyde Park misses the mark where it matters most. The chicken shawarma was dry and lifeless, the chips that came with the shawarma were stale, and the bread for the soup arrived still sealed in its plastic packaging. The rice was so over salted, it drowned out every other flavor. The lentil soup was merely passable.
The only redeeming dish was the kifta kabob, which was tender and properly seasoned. One well-executed item couldn’t rescue an otherwise careless meal."
